Yan Diomande to make an assist @ 5/2 vs Curacao
While Curacao held firm against Ecuador, they’re in for a much tougher test defensively against this talented Ivory Coast team.
Key to breaking down Curacao will be Liverpool target Yan Diomande, who has been a standout for the Ivory Coast so far. He’s recorded 0.73 Expected Assists across his first two games, and this is the easiest fixture yet for the RB Leipzig winger.
Diomande has created a combined seven chances, and it was his threat on the left which caused Germany all kinds of problems in Toronto. The Ivorians are expected to create plenty of chances, and Diomande should be central to that.
Enner Valencia over 1.5 shots on target @ 10/3 vs Germany
The motivations at play in this clash suggest Valencia should be a shorter price for two or more shots on target. The former West Ham striker had seven attempts against Curacao, with five of those hitting the target.
Germany have already qualified, and this is a must-win game for Ecuador if they’re to qualify for the next round. Early on, they’ll soak up pressure and look to counter, but eventually Ecuador will need to go all out. Given that Valencia is their biggest goal threat, he’s a huge price to have two or more shots on target. It’s a feat he achieved in two of his three games in Qatar four years ago, and in their home and away clashes with the top side in South American qualifying, Argentina.
Ali Abdi over 1.5 fouls @ Evens vs Netherlands
Crysencio Summerville should start on the right for the Dutch after dropping to the bench against Sweden. He scored and assisted as a second-half substitute, and the winger has drawn four fouls across his 114 minutes of play at this tournament.
He was fouled 67 times in the Premier League last season, and Summerville takes on Tunisian defender Ali Abdi, who has recorded four fouls in two games ahead of his biggest test at the tournament so far.
