13.05 – Hazelton Mountford Insurance Brokers Juvenile Hurdle
CAMARRATE is Donald McCain’s only runner on the card, and this flat winner is very interesting on hurdles debut. BALTIC VOYAGE is rated in the mid-80s on the Flat and is another to consider in what should prove to be an informative opener. I can see him running really well for a trainer and jockey who do well when joining forces.
Tips: CAMARRATE, BALTIC VOYAGE

The Dan Skelton-trained LIGHTENING MAHLER made a successful hurdling debut at Hereford earlier this month, beating a rival who already had hurdles experience. With her stable in excellent form, she has a golden opportunity to extend her unbeaten record under rules. She is the one to beat.
Tips: LIGHTENING MAHLER
14.05 – Welcombe Hills Vineyard Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle
BREAK MY SOUL couldn’t justify strong market support when third on debut at Newbury, but he shaped nicely in defeat, and the combination of the step-up in distance and breathing operation should bring about significant improvement. It would be a surprise if this expensive recruit didn’t come close to making amends this time.
Tips: BREAK MY SOUL
14.35 – racingtv.com/freetrial Novices’ Handicap Chase
MARGARET’S LEGACY won with something to spare at Market Rasen on Boxing Day and should make a bold bid from his 5Ib higher mark. PARK THIS ONE should develop into a nice chaser who won two of his four starts over hurdles and was last seen finishing fourth in a high-quality Grade 2 race. He is a major player on his handicap, seasonal, and chase debut.
Tips: MARGARET’S LEGACY, PARK THIS ONE
15.05 – Watch RacingTV For Free For 31 Days Handicap Hurdle
BLACK KALANISI won twice on the flat late last year and ran well under a big weight when third at Chepstow last time out. He is a pound lower, has returned to chasing, and should be in the mix, while TOP CLOUD has won four of his last five starts, and the form of his latest win could hardly have worked out any better.
Tips: BLACK KALANISI, TOP CLOUD

SAMUEL JACKSON has failed to complete four of his last five starts and isn’t getting any younger, but this is a weak race, and he’s more than capable of winning off this basement mark based on his best form. HEAD AND HEART should be thereabouts, while C&D winner HEAD ON is another to merit serious consideration. He gets along well with David Bass.
Tips: SAMUEL JACKSON, HEAD AND HEART, HEAD ON
