But his iron play is out of this world, ranking 10th in 2025, which is a perfect fit given that the last six winners at the Texas Open have ranked 1-1-4-1-1-4 for SG: Approach.
Tommy Fleetwood

Another absolute flusher – there’s a theme occurring here. Few players on Tour are more likeable than Fleetwood. Those wavey locks, that wide smile. It’s how golf should be played. But he’s not just the decerning housewife’s favourite, he’s a real talent that has arguably not yet reached his full potential – yet. A solid top ten last year, coupled with good showings in The Genesis (T5) and The Sentry (T22), puts Fleetwood in the mixer. Ranked third and sixth, respectively, for SG: Approach and SG: Tee-to-green in 2025 cements our claims that we aren’t just backing him because he’s one of the good guys, but because he’s a genuine shout this week.

TPC San Antonio plays host to the Valero Texas Open. The tournament is the third oldest on Tour, dating back to 1922. It’s now shifted to the Greg Norman-designed Oaks Course, which opened in 2010 and spans 7,435 of the finest desert yards you’ll find anywhere in the world.
