Tuesday – Motherwell vs Peterhead

Peterhead began their League Cup campaign with a 4-2 loss against Morton. Both teams have scored in four of their previous five matches in the competition, while they head to a Motherwell side that made a shaky start.

The Premiership outfit drew 2-2 with League Two side Clyde in their first game in the group. While they should be able to pick up three points at Fir Park, back Peterhead to get on the scoresheet.

Wednesday – Norway vs Italy

After back-to-back group stage exits at the Euros, Norway laid down a marker by winning all three group games. However, defensive concerns could be an issue in the knockout stages, as they failed to keep a clean sheet across their group matches.

Italy scored in every group game and they’re primed to exploit a Norway side who have kept only two clean sheets from 10 games in 2025. However, the Italians conceded in their final two group games. Back both teams to score as the quarter-finals begin.

Thursday – Cliftonville vs St Josephs

These two sides played out a 2-2 draw in Gibraltar, with the Northern Irish side fortunate to escape with a result after struggling to generate chances. While they should fair better at Solitude, St Joseph’s have been competitive in Europe of late.

Last term they faced off with opposition from the Republic of Ireland, scoring home and away to a Shelbourne side that went on to lift the title. Cliftonville qualified for Europe despite recording a seventh-placed finish in the Premiership, so the visitors can grab a goal in Belfast.

Friday – Spain vs Switzerland

Euro 2025 favourites Spain scored 14 times across their three group victories, but they did offer opportunities at the other end. They beat Belgium 6-2 and Italy 3-1 in the previous round, while they’ve conceded in 10 of their previous 11 internationals.

Hosts Switzerland scored in all three of their group games, while both teams have scored in three of their last four starts. The Swiss are massive outsiders, but they can find the net with home advantage behind them.

Saturday – KFUM Oslo vs Brann

KFUM won 2-0 at bottom club Haugesund last weekend, but their next test pits them against title-challengers Brann. The hosts have scored in all but one of their home matches this term, netting 11 times across their six games.

Brann’s only clean sheet on the road came at Haugesund, but they can ill-afford a slip-up after closing the gap to leaders Viking last weekend. With KFUM keeping only three clean sheets this term, both teams to score appeals.

Sunday – Valerenga vs Haugesund

Eliteserien strugglers Haugesund have endured an awful campaign, losing 12 of their 14 matches so far. They’ve conceded 36 times, with only two points to their name so far.

However, the visitors did get on the scoresheet at Sarpsborg in their last away trip, while they’ve scored in four of their seven away defeats this term. Hosts Valerenga are fifth-bottom with a poor defensive record of their own, as BTTS has landed in their last four home matches. They’ve shipped two goals per game at home, so this clash wraps up our BTTS sixfold.
