Friday – Ross County vs St Johnstone

The two Scottish Championship favourites meet in just the second week of the season, after the pair were relegated from the Premiership last term.

The two sides made a high-scoring return to the second tier. St Johnstone thumped Partick Thistle 5-1, while Ross County drew 2-2 with Airdrie.

The two sides scored a combined 26 goals across their four League Cup group games last month, while their previous meeting at this ground finished 3-3.

Friday – Viborg vs Sonderjyske

Both of these sides secured their first win of the new Danish Superliga season, with Viborg claiming a 2-0 win at Brondby on Sunday.

The hosts started the campaign with a 3-2 defeat to Copenhagen and 3-1 loss at Odense. Visitors Sonderjyske have split 15 goals across their first three matches, with both teams scoring in each.

All but one of their last 12 head-to-head meetings have finished with both teams scoring, while the pair have shared 42 goals across those contests.

Saturday – Livingston vs Falkirk

The Premiership’s two promoted sides clash on Saturday, after drawing 2-2 in their opening matches.

Livingston fought back from 2-0 down at Kilmarnock, while Falkirk created the better chances despite twice trailing at home to Dundee United.

Livingston’s style of play has brought criticism, but they dominated possession and won the xG battle at Killie. Opponents Falkirk averaged two goals per game on their way to the Championship title, so back both teams to score.

Saturday – Exeter City vs Blackpool

Blackpool’s hopes of a return to the Championship didn’t get off to a great start, as Steve Bruce’s side were beaten 3-2 at home to Stevenage in their season opener.

While Exeter began their campaign with a 1-0 defeat at Doncaster, they scored in 18 of their 23 home games in League One last term. Blackpool’s shaky start should bring more attacking joy for the hosts, but the Tangerines have enough attacking quality to factor into the promotion race.

Sunday – Norrkoping vs Hammarby

Six wins from seven have put Hammarby into the title mix in Sweden, but their previous three matches have brought two 3-2 wins and a defeat by the same scoreline.

The second-placed side have scored 34 times across their 18 matches so far. Sunday’s visit to a Norrkoping side that lost 6-4 last weekend promises more entertainment, especially with the hosts’ nine home matches this season featuring 30 goals.

Sunday – Galway United vs Shamrock Rovers

Shamrock Rovers have managed only one clean sheet on their travels this term, while they head into this contest juggling league and European commitments.

Third-bottom Galway United have lost five of their last six matches, but they’ve scored 17 times in 12 home matches. The visitors have shipped 16 of their 23 goals conceded on their travels so far this season, but they’ve scored at every team in the league bar one.
