That performance marked his first run since October and demonstrated his ability to return from a break in peak condition.

Now stepping up to Class 2 company, Silvestre De Sousa takes the reins from stall two, a favourable draw on Newbury’s straight mile. Given his proven ability on firm ground and his progressive profile, My Cloud is poised to deliver another strong performance as he continues his upward trajectory.

Eydon has demonstrated consistent form in recent outings, including a second-place finish in a Class 2 stakes race at Southwell on January 31, 2025, over 11.1 furlongs on the all-weather surface. Prior to that, he secured second place in a Listed race at Kempton on December 11, 2024, over 12 furlongs.

With a Timeform rating of 106, Eydon will carry 9st 2lb in this race. Oisin Murphy is booked to ride, and the horse is drawn in stall five.

The competition includes notable contenders such as Al Aasy, Courage Mon Ami, and El Cordobes. Eydon’s proven stamina and consistent performances suggest he could be a strong each-way prospect in this Group 3 contest.
