Cheltenham – LAVENDER HILL MOB

Sat 14 Dec, 12:10

BET NOW

I am very much willing to forgive Lavender Hill Mob for hurdles defeat last time out. I think he will have learnt plenty in the jumping department and can use the flat class to win this.

He is highly thought of, and from a stable who knows the time of day with these juveniles, he looks likely to take the beating.

NEXT BEST:

Cheltenham – PEAKY BOY

He looks likely to relish the step up to three miles, and in a competitive field, he can back up his easy win from last time out. He is a three-mile point-to-point winner, who made it three from three at Cheltenham when bagging his chase debut with a cosy win.

He was learning all the time throughout, and powered to the line, with the step up in trip on the cards mentioned straight after that win. He can come forward again raised seven pounds.

LONG SHOT:

Cheltenham – MADARA

Sat 14 Dec, 13:50

BET NOW

He’s been dropped a pound after a great effort first time up for the Skelton’s in the Paddy Power at the November meeting. He was slightly hampered, but powered home as the eye-catcher, and has more to give for this yard. He won over two miles off 10 pound lower at this meeting last season.

He’s a solid chance, all be in a competitive race, as you would expect for a nice December feature.
