13.15 – Betfair Racing Podcasts Juvenile Handicap Hurdle
KARTOON AND CO has shaped well in defeat the last two times since winning on his stable/hurdle debut and could go close, while two-time winning hurdler THROUGH THE AGES could be tough to overhaul. Harry Cobden is a significant jockey booking too.
Tips: KARTOON AND CO, THROUGH THE AGES
13.50 – European Breeders’ Fund Betfair ‘National Hunt’ Novices’ Handicap Hurdle Final
FIRE FLYER has to carry a lot of weight, but he’s progressive, having won his last couple of starts, and is unbeaten going right-handed. Paul Nicholls’ charge should be in the mix, while HASTHING should do better than last time and could emerge as a key player.
Tips: FIRE FLYER, HASTHING
14.25 – Betfair Imperial Cup Handicap Hurdle
SANS BRUIT displayed useful form over both hurdles and fences in France and should be a completely different proposition after shaping well on his stable debut at Doncaster. I like his chances off this mark, while Betfair Hurdle third, GO DANTE, must be a serious player from an unchanged mark and with more to come.
Tips: SANS BRUIT, GO DANTE
15.00 – British Stallion Studs EBF Mares’ Standard Open NH Flat Race
JUST CALL ME LUCY shaped very well when fourth on her debut, and she put that experience to good use when winning by 17 lengths at Carlisle last time out. She has a leading chance, while PLANTAROMA showed plenty when runner-up in a Carlisle bumper first time out and could go well.
Tips: JUST CALL ME LUCY, PLANTAROMA
15.35 – Betfair Serial Winners Fund Novices’ Handicap Chase (Premier Handicap)
The Paul Nicholls-trained GOLDEN SON built on the promise of his chasing debut to score at Kempton last time and must be respected. Gary Moore’s KOTMASK, who has won his last couple of starts, shouldn’t be underestimated in his hat-trick bid.
Tips: GOLDEN SON, KOTMASK
16.10 – Best Odds On The Betfair Exchange Handicap Chase
BALLYGRIFINCOTTAGE has been well below his best in a number of starts now, but he is dangerously well handicapped if he can spark back to life at this level. He is worth one more chance. CASTLE ROBIN is two pounds below his last winning mark and should be thereabouts.
Tips: BALLYGRIFINCOTTAGE, CASTLE ROBIN
