Jayson Tatum over 24.5 points vs Philadelphia 76ers
The Celtics hold a 3-1 lead over Philadelphia 76ers and they have a chance to close out the series with two games to spare in Boston on Tuesday night.
That is an opportunity the Celtics are likely to seize and a big contribution from Jayson Tatum should be expected.
For a large chunk of the campaign it remained unclear as to whether or not Tatum would miss the entirety of the season but he was able to make a comeback from injury in March, and he needed virtually no time to settle in.
Tatum averaged over 20 points per-game in his 16 regular season appearances and he’s upped his levels further in the postseason. He scored 30 points in Game 4 for his highest total of the series so far and he’s scored at least 25 points in three of the four games. He ended up with 19 in a Game 2 defeat but shot just 8-19 from the field so he should have ended up with more.
Tatum is evens to go over 24.5 points in Game 5 and with Boston looking to kill this series off and book a place in the next round that looks excellent value.
