Today’s NBA Prop Bet of the Day
Tyrese Haliburton over 2.5 turnovers at 5/7
Haliburton’s calf injury in Game 5 looks like a turning point in this series, while his betting markets have been altered to reflect how that impacted him. It’s hard to see that kind of injury keeping him out of this game, but it will adjust how the Pacers use him.
Haliburton has recorded at least three turnovers in every game in this series, including five in Games 2 & 4. His number appears to be lower here due to the belief that he’ll spend more time off the ball, but his injury status, combined with the Thunder’s ability to force turnovers, should cause problems for the point guard.
With the Pacers facing elimination, Haliburton will look to step up as the creative hub of this Pacers team. He’s played at least 36 minutes in the final game of their previous three series, so he’ll have spells where he looks to get on the ball and force the issue. He has recorded three or more turnovers in six straight postseason appearances, so the over appeals.
Other NBA Finals Game 6 Betting Tips
Tyrese Haliburton over 5.5 attempted threes at 20/23
The box score for Game 5 shows how Haliburton was impacted by his injury, as he shot 0-6 from the floor. However, two-thirds of those shots were threes, as opposed to previous games where he attempted around half of his shots within the paint.
The ball pressure from OKC should force Haliburton into more catch-and-shoot threes, rather than getting the ball down and looking to dribble to the basket. The guard shot at least seven threes in each of the first seven games of the series, so this number seems low given how he’ll have to adjust to take more shots from range.
Pascal Siakam to score 25+ points at 8/5
With Haliburton hurt, Pascal Siakam is going to play a key role as the Pacers look to extend their season. Luckily for them, Siakam has an impressive Game 6 track record.
During the Toronto Raptors’ 2019 championship run, Siakam put up 21 points in a Game 6 clash with the Philadelphia 76ers. That was despite him being the second, or at times third, option offensively. He followed that up with 26 points in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors.
By 2022, Siakam was the main man in Toronto, leading them in a six-game series with the Sixers. The Cameroonian scored 24 points against a stronger Philly side in his final postseason appearance for the Raptors.
This will he his fourth Game 6 as a Pacer, including two against the New York Knicks. He scored 25 points in a Game 6 win over the Knicks last year, while he had 31 at Madison Square Garden in the previous round. Following 28 points in Game 5, Siakam can rise to the occasion against OKC once more.
What are NBA Player Props?
In addition to betting on games, which we cover in our daily NBA tips, player props allow you to predict how a player will perform in individual stat categories. The most popular bets tend to be over/under player props, which mostly revolve around points, rebounds and assists.
NBA prop lines appear a little after the main moneyline and spread odds. These are often linked to player stat lines from the regular season. Our NBA playoff betting strategy is focused on finding favourable matchups or increased minutes, which can help players to hit the over.
When will the NBA prop bet of the day be posted?
With the playoffs running almost daily from now until June, our daily NBA props will go live each afternoon in the UK. We aim to have our best NBA prop bet for tonight’s playoff games live well before the action tips off.
Underrated NBA playoff prop markets
The most popular NBA prop bets tend to be based around points + rebounds + assists (PRA). However, betting markets for player stats extend far beyond that. Throughout the NBA playoffs, you’ll find prop lines on other markets like threes made, steals, blocks and even turnovers.

NBA Prop Betting Tips for the Playoffs
There’s little doubt that the game changes from the regular season to the playoffs, which is something to consider for your NBA playoff prop picks. Teams shorten their rotations, cutting opportunities for players further down the roster. Stars have the ball in their hands much more, while the prospect of a seven-game series opens up an opportunity to bet focused on matchups between the two teams.
We’ll be keeping an eye on the latest NBA playoff player prop trends through our daily best bets.
