Level 1 Bet Builder Tip

🏆 Liverpool to Win

📈 Odds: 1.29

Liverpool have been formidable this season, particularly at Anfield in recent weeks, and it would be a huge upset if Fulham were to take anything from this match. Arne Slot’s side have won their last 9 home matches and have not conceded in the last 4 of these.

Their form looks to be sustainable, particularly offensively. They have generated at least 2.0xG in 6 of 9 fixtures and have posted at better xG than their opponents in every one of these games, too.

Fulham are enjoying an exceptional season but are definitely a weaker side on the road, with just 2 wins on their travels in the Premier League. Only away match against a team currently in the top 4 of the table was a 3-2 defeat against Man City at the beginning of October.

The Cottagers’ opponents have generated a greater xG than them in 3 of their last 4 Premier League matches and were notably outmatched 0.2-1.8 by Arsenal last weekend in this regard.

Liverpool have won 4 of the last 5 meetings across all competitions between these clubs and have picked up victories in 5 of the last 6 this fixture has been played at Anfield.

🚀 Cody Gakpo to have 3+ Shots 🔄

📈 Odds: 1.50

Gakpo stands second in the Liverpool squad when it comes to volume of shots in the Premier League this season. The Dutchman has attempted 3.04 shots per 90 minutes, which only Mohamed Salah at 3.16 can do better than.

Although Gakpo is typically replaced in the middle part of the second half, this is generally ample time for him to do his damage. In 6 of his last 7 Liverpool starts dating back to the Champions League fixture against Bayer Leverkusen in October, he has managed at least 3 shots.

When the teams met at Craven Cottage in the Premier League last season in April, Gakpo was a major attacking outlet for Liverpool as he managed 4 shots, including 3 on target.

Was rotated out of the team for the Girona match in midweek but has typically been starting Premier League games lately, so should have plenty of energy.

🛑 Sasa Lukic to Commit 2+ Fouls 🔄

📈 Odds: 1.53

Lukic leads Fulham with 24 fouls committed in the Premier League this season. The true extent of the Serbian’s tendency to give away free-kicks, though, is best seen when looking at his per 90 figure, which sits at 2.76 – 1.04 higher than Fulham’s next most prolific criminal, who is Kenny Tete.

Lukic does not just give away a high number of fouls, he does so on a consistent basis, with the 28-year-old committing at least 2 fouls per start for 8 successive games before that run was brought to an end against Arsenal last weekend. He gave away 1 free-kick on that occasion.

He will find himself up against a Liverpool midfield that draws a high number of fouls, no matter what combination of players are used in that area. In particular, Ryan Gravenberch is liable to pose the Fulham central midfielder difficulties. The Dutchman has drawn 26 fouls in the Premier League this season, a rate of 1.9 per 90.

🩹 Over 5.5 Liverpool Corners

📈 Odds: 1.30

Liverpool find themselves in the midst of a long run of winning a high number of corners, with Arne Slot’s side picking up at least 6 in each of their past 5 matches, including home fixtures against Real Madrid and Man City.

Although the Reds post a relatively low number of corners at home this season – 5.43 per match compared to 7.0 on the road – this can be explained by the fact that 6 of their 7 home fixtures have been against teams currently in the top 8 of the Premier League table. The exception was Brentford, a team they won 9 corners against.

Fulham post a decent overall record when it comes to preventing corners, giving away 5.07 per game on average, yet Marco Silva’s side have given up at least 6 in each of their last 3 games.

The Cottagers have also struggled to prevent corners against the Premier League’s best teams. They have given up at least 6 on each occasion they have played a team from the top 8.

Level 2 Bet Builder Tip

🚀 Trent Alexander-Arnold to have 2+ Shots 🔄

📈 Odds: 1.73

Alexander-Arnold continues to be a major attacking threat for Liverpool from his customary position of right-back, with the England star having had at least 2 shots in 4 of his last 6 starts for the club – and in one of these he was withdrawn before 25 minutes had been played because of injury. Overall this season, he averages 1.21 shots per 90 in the Premier League.

He showed plenty of attacking intent against Girona in midweek, when he had 2 shots, both of which hit the target.

TAA seems to love playing against Fulham. Last season, Alexander-Arnold scored in both Premier League fixtures against the Cottagers.

He has started 3 Premier League home matches against this opponent and has managed at least 3 shots in each one. In the home fixture against the London side last season, Alexander-Arnold mustered an impressive 4 shots and scored with his effort that hit the target.

🚀 Alex Iwobi to have 2+ Shots 🔄

📈 Odds: 2.20

Alex Iwobi has developed into a key offensive figure for Fulham since the international break in October, thriving in a role that he seen him operate down both wings, changing position during each match.

Overall this season, he has attempted 1.74 shots per 90, but this figure has risen lately. The Nigeria international has managed at least 2 shots in 6 of his last 7 matches, with that run stopped last weekend by Arsenal.

Impressively, he has also hit the target in each of those matches, with the former Arsenal man priced at a very sizeable 2.7 to hit the target at Anfield on Saturday.

It’s notable that during this run, Fulham have looked for Iwobi more. At the start of the season, he would often touch the ball around 45 times per match, yet that number has climbed to an average of 53.1 over the course of the last 8 games.

If he can find space in behind Liverpool’s attacking full-backs, he has the confidence to try his luck.

🎯 Raul Jimenez to have 1+ Shots on Target 🔄

📈 Odds: 1.83

Raul Jimenez is likely to provide Fulham’s greatest direct threat on goal, with the striker mustering a team-high 1.4 shots on target per 90 this season.

Has started 12 games across all competitions this season and has hit the target with a shot in 9 of these. In the matches he failed – Man City, Crystal Palace and Wolves – he still managed a couple of shots at goal, showing that he is at least giving himself a chance.

He will come into this match high in confidence after scoring against Arsenal last weekend. That strike ended a run of 5 starts in which he had failed to score in.

Iwobi managed a shot on target in his last appearances against Liverpool, which was the second leg of the EFL Cup semi-final last January.

Although he rarely plays the full duration of a game, he has never been replaced before 70 minutes have been played, suggesting he will feature for the vast majority of this encounter. Of course, Super Sub can help us here too.

🛑 Raul Jimenez to Commit 1+ Fouls 🔄

📈 Odds: 1.22

Jimenez is prolific when it comes to giving away fouls. The Mexico international striker has committed 17 across his Premier League matches this season, working out at 1.7 per 90 minutes. Among Fulham players who have more than 90 league minutes under their belts this season, this is the third highest ratio.

He rarely gives away spectacular numbers of fouls but does commit them at regular intervals. For example, he has given away 1 or 2 fouls in 10 of his 12 Fulham starts this season. Committed 3 only once and managed a whole match without a single indiscretion only away to Everton in October.

Jimenez is likely to be significantly involved in this game, with Fulham seeking to get the ball forward to him quickly. He’s managed 40 or more touches in each of his last 3 away matches (between 24 and 29 in his last 3 at home), and this more direct style is likely to lead to more duels and an increased chance of giving away a foul.

He could well find himself head-to-head with Joe Gomez, who has won a foul in each of his last 3 starts for Liverpool.
