Green Bay Packers @ Seattle Seahawks
Week 15 of the NFL is here, and with just 3 rounds still to play after this, the race for the play-offs is really heating up. The 9-4 Green Bay Packers are in a tough division, and lie in 3rd place in the NFC North.
They head out West to face the 8-5 Seattle Seahawks, who sit atop the NFC West, despite having a worse record than the side from Wisconsin. We’ve crafted a Bet Builder for this matchup at 5/1.

Bet Builder Tip
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Over 65.5 Receiving Yards
Odds: 1.83
We have a fantastic primetime matchup between two teams in close divisional races fighting for playoff spots. On the Seahawks side, Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been one of the more interesting stories to follow this season, after bouncing back from a slow start.
He’s now posted 69+ receiving yards in 6 straight games averaging 80 yards over that span. While DK Metcalf has missed some time this year, JSN has made himself impossible to ignore. The Packers have allowed 4 straight receivers to hit this in 4 games, and I trust JSN to find the holes in their zone-heavy defense.
Another interesting motivational factor is that Jaxon Smith-Njigba is 26 receptions away from breaking the Seattle Seahawks single-season record of 100, he would need to average 6.5 receptions per game over his last four games. This is on pace with the production he’s been churning out over his last six games.
His completion is pretty sparse, with Kenneth Walker injured in the backfield and DK Metcalf questionable. Geno should be able to find his new favorite target with or without Metcalf, and the falloff of Tyler Lockett has been especially evident recently. Love this matchup for another breakout game in primetime.
Josh Jacobs, Anytime Touchdown
Odds: 1.57
For Josh Jacobs, it’s really been a tale of two seasons. In Josh Jacobs’ first 7 games, he only had 2 total TDs but over his last 6 games, he’s posted 10 total touchdowns, including at least one 4 straight games.
He’s one of the highest-volume backs in the league and rarely leaves the field in important situations. He’s averaging over 18 carries per game in addition to 3 targets, this kind of duel threat is key in the red zone. In Josh Jacobs’ last game against Seattle, he posted 33 carries for 229 rushing yards and 2 TDs, with an additional 7 catches for 74 yards.
When asked about his high usage in the game before Detroit, he clarified he was good to go and able to handle as many carries as possible. With a little extra rest in, he will absolutely be needed to win this game against the Seahawks. With Woolen and Witherspoon on the outside, I think it will be hard for weapons like Christian Watson and Jayden Reed to separate.
The Packers should lean even more heavily on their workhouse back, especially in the red zone. This whole season shifted when Jacobs demanded more red zone attempts before the Niners game, and you don’t fix something that ain’t broke.
Tucker Kraft, Over 33.5 Receiving Yards
Odds: 1.83
We are getting a very good price on one of the Packer’s most underrated weapons. While a lot of people questioned his ability to even hold on to the full-time job before the season started, Kraft has definitely defied expectations. He’s a bit of a dual-threat tight end, showing some high-end passing catching and blocking on tape this season.
While people hate talking about blocking, you can’t score a touchdown if you’re not on the field, and that’s how Kraft has earned himself such a solid role. He’s a well-rounded player, and I think we see a bounceback from Jordan Love in a huge game this week.
Last week Kraft was Jordan Love’s first read on 20% of dropbacks resulting in 3 catches for 41 yards in a tough matchup against the Lions last week. While the Seahawks have made some changes at the linebacker position, I do think the best place to attack them is over the middle of the field, especially with Witherspoon defending Jayden Reed or another WR.
Kraft has posted 50+ yards in 5 of his last 10 games, and we have continued to see the Packers bump Jayden Reed out of the lineup for more heavy tight end packages. I think Kraft has some sneaky upside this week, and also makes for another great red zone threat. He’s one of the few tight ends with yards after the catch, averaging 13.4 yards per reception this year.
