There’s another slate of 4 games on Friday in the Dutch Eerste Divisie – which means we have 1 focus in mind, goals.
Our expert has crunched the numbers and has four picks for a goals-based accumulator. A £10 bet returns £70.30 at the time of writing.

Friday’s Eerste Divisie Accumulator Tips
De Graafschap are now the highest scoring team in the league (40 goals) but have dropped down recently after two surprise away defeats. Their fixtures average a massive 3.80 goals per game and that is because they also have a poor defensive record. This is a team who are regularly involved in shootouts with a huge 13 out of 8 games going over 3.5 goals. At home, 8 of their 9 games have all gone over 2.5 so that is always a good looking bet at this venue.
Cambuur had a very slow start to the season but have rebounded well in the last couple of months. They head into this game having won 6 of their 8 games and the key has been an improvement in front of goal. They smashed Vitesse 6-0 on the road and in total have netted 11 times in their last 4 league games. Michael de Leeuw and Remco Balk have found some form and this looks like it should be a match containing a few goals. Over 2.5 is the best bet.
Rock bottom Vitesse beat Helmond 2-1 a couple of weeks ago and followed it up with a 2-2 draw away to Maastricht.
However, the club were hit with a further 21-point deduction recently so remain at the foot of the table. Vitesse have only claimed 3 victories in their 18 games and it’s been a miserable campaign for them. Some recent results have been awful including a shocking 6-0 home loss to Cambuur. They have only kept 1 clean sheet in their last 13 games and they are now in a position where they might as well have fun, try to enjoy their football and score goals.
This is a very winnable game for Vitesse because Jong Utrecht are arguably the worst team in the league. They would be bottom were it not for the Vitesse points deduction and have won just 1 match in 18. They have conceded a mammoth 36 goals, 4 of which came last week when they lost to FC Eindhoven (4-0).
This is a miserable team and Jong Utrecht know they can’t rely on their defence to bail them out. It’s 20th v 19th and the bottom two meet in a league where there’s no relegation. Both sides may as well have a go to try and win so the goals should flow, meaning over 2.5 is a solid option.
ADO Den Haag have steadily been improving as the season has progressed although they have lost their last 2 away games. Recent wins over FC Eindhoven (4-0) and Vitesse (2-0) were morale-boosting victories and they have now scored 19 goals in their last 8 fixtures. Lack of clean sheets has suddenly cost Den Haag with 8 goals conceded in the last 4 games an area of concern.
Consistency is not a word often associated with Maastricht but they do head into this match on a 5-game unbeaten run. This is definitely their best phase of the entire season and their confidence should be flowing, despite only drawing as an odds-on favourite last week. The Maastricht offense is back firing and needs to because this team have only kept 3 clean sheets all season. There are worse defenses around but their lack of shut-outs always points towards the overs goals market. The last 3 Maastricht games have all gone over 2.5 and this looks like a matchup between 2 teams who can currently attack, but don’t defend very well.
Roda underachieved for a large proportion of the season but are now in their best form of the campaign, unbeaten in 7 straight games with 5 wins in that period. They have delivered a victory on all of the last 4 occasions they have been odds-on to win, which bodes well for them here. This is an attack force which has scored 10 goals in the last 4 games. Cain Seedorf has been in good form with 3 goals and 3 assists in his last 8 games.
Dordrecht are back up to 4th position after back to back wins. They are a surprising underdog and as big as 3.40 to beat an improving Roda side. Only 3 teams in the Eerste Divisie have scored more goals and they have a plethora of attacking weapons. Devin Haen, Korede Osundina and Jaden Slory are all dangerous whilst midfielder Rocco Robert Shein is a dual threat for goals and assists. Only De Graafschap have more over 3.5 goal games than Dordrecht this season so it looks a good bet in this matchup.
