AFC Wimbledon vs Notts County – AFC Wimbledon at 11/8 with bet365

AFC Wimbledon have seen their League Two promotion hopes dented by back-to-back defeats but they are generally strong at home and can defeat fellow highflyers Notts County at Plough Lane Stadium.

Wombles’ manager Johnnie Jackson made five changes to his starting eleven for Tuesday’s 1-0 loss away to struggling Morecambe.

Jackson was disappointed by his team’s midweek performance and will bring back his big guns, including first choice strikers Omar Bugiel and Matty Stevens.

Wimbledon should play at a higher level and they can pick up a vital victory over a Notts County side which has gone off the boil.

County have won only one of their last five league games and were particularly poor on Tuesday when losing 2-1 at home to Barrow.

Borussia Dortmund vs Augsburg – Augsburg or draw double chance at 11/8 with bet365

Borussia Dortmund were frustrated by Lille in a 1-1 draw in the Champions League on Tuesday night and they could drop points in the Bundesliga on Saturday when they host in-form Augsburg.

Augsburg have lost just one of their last nine matches in the Bundesliga and a watertight defence has played its part.

Indeed, ahead of the weekend’s action, no side in Europe’s top five leagues had conceded fewer league goals than Augsburg (three) in 2025.

They can frustrated Dortmund, who will have one eye on the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Exeter vs Shrewsbury – Exeter to win at 13/10 with bet365

Shrewsbury are now eight points from safety and appear to be staring at League Two football next season, while Exeter will be determined not to join them.

The Grecians are four points above the dropzone and although they have games in hand, they need to build on recent improvements.

Gary Caldwell’s men have collected five points from their last four league games and they now face a Shrews team that have scored just once in the last four matches.

Exeter are unbeaten in their last four meetings with Shrewsbury, who have also failed to find the net in any of those head-to-heads.

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City – Manchester City to win at 17/20 with bet365

Manchester City have failed to live up to expectations this season, while Nottingham Forest have far exceeded their hopes for the campaign, but the market looks to have moved a little too far in favour of the Tricky Trees.

City won’t be mounting a successful defence of their Premier League title this term, but Pep Guardiola’s men remain a top-level team and they should have enough to win at the City Ground.

Forest have won only two of their last seven top-flight matches, and while they held Arsenal to a 0-0 draw last month, Nuno Espirito Santo’s men were clearly second-best in that contest.

Alaves vs Villarreal- Villarreal to win at 11/8 with bet365

Alaves have managed just one win in their last 15 games across all competitions and their woeful form has seen the drop right down to 19th in the La Liga table.

Visitors Villarreal are heading in the opposite direction and a run of 14 points from the last available 18 has seen them move to within four points of the top four. The Yellow Submarine have won back-to-back away games and they can make it three on the spin against an Alaves side who have scored just one goal across their last four home games (D1, L3).

Alex Wrigley

Marseille vs Lens – Marseille to win at 11/20 with bet365

A late penalty from relegation-threatened Le Havre resigned Lens to a fourth successive Ligue 1 defeat and, with three regular starters suspended for this trip to Marseille, the ninth-placed side may be on track to make it five defeats on the spin.

Les Phoceens have won four of their last five and, while PSG already have one hand on the title, they will be keen to cement their silver-medal position to take some of the pressure off later in the season. Roberto de Zerbi’s side are unbeaten at home since November and have won five of their seven games since, so three points looks to be on the cards.
