Oldham vs Barrow – Oldham to win at 17/20 with bet365

Readjusting to EFL life took a while for Oldham but last season’s National League playoff winners have firmly got back to grips with the fourth tier now, picking up ten points from their last five games.

Only two sides have amassed more points in the same period and that form should see them prevail over Barrow in League Two’s evening kick-off.

The Cumbrians have lost four of their six away matches this season and with the two wins coming at Colchester and Crawley, two sides below them in the table, it is hard to see them finding any joy in Oldham.

Aaron Ashley

Stockport vs Blackpool – Stockport to win at 3/4 with bet365

Blackpool have parted ways with Steve Bruce after their dreadful start to the League One campaign but their fortunes are unlikely to change away at Stockport, who moved up to seventh with last weekend’s impressive 2-1 victory at Huddersfield.

The Tangerines have suffered defeat in all five away league games this season, scoring only once to leave themselves second from bottom, and Stockport will have promotion ambitions having missed out in last season’s playoffs and lost only two of their first 11 league fixtures.

Aaron Rogan

Bulgaria vs Turkiye – Over 2.5 Turkiye goals at 11/10 with bet365

Bulgaria kicked off their qualifying campaign with back-to-back 3-0 defeats last month. Another heavy loss could be on the cards, as they’ve conceded at least twice in each of their six games in 2025.

Bulgaria were beaten 5-0 at Northern Ireland last year, while they began 2025 with a 4-2 aggregate loss to a blunt Republic of Ireland side. Greece thumped them 4-0 in June, so back a Turkish side that won 3-2 in Georgia last month to impress. With an exciting crop of attacking players coming through, Turkiye have the talent up front to hand Bulgaria another heavy defeat.

James Milton

Portugal vs Republic of Ireland – Portugal to win & over 3.5 goals at 5/4 with bet365

The Republic of Ireland drew 2-2 with Hungary and lost 2-1 to Armenia in their first two World Cup qualifying matches and it is hard to see them keeping things tight against Portugal.

Roberto Martinez’s men beat Germany and European champions Spain at June’s Nations League finals and kicked off their World Cup qualifying campaign with a 5-0 rout of Armenia and a 3-2 victory in Hungary.

Four of Portugal’s last five internationals have produced over 3.5 goals and they should be backed for another high-scoring win against under-pressure Ireland.

Ian Wilkerson

Tranmere vs Barnet – Barnet at 6/5 with bet365

Barnet initially found the transition back to the EFL difficult following last season’s National League success but the Bees are now buzzing and can continue their progress when they head to Tranmere.

Dean Brennan’s side lost their three opening games against Fleetwood, Bronlwy and Walsall, but have been defeated just once in their last eight in a run that has included wins on their travels against Swindon, Crewe and Oldham.

They could have too much for Tranemere, who are going through a tough time.

Rovers have not won in the league since August 23 and are the only team bottom side Newport have earned anything against in their last eight matches, so it would be no surprise if the new boys left Prenton Park with the points.

Gareth Freeman

Real Sociedad B vs Andorra – Andorra to win at 27/20 with bet365

Real Sociedad B have struggled to adjust with the step up in class after winning promotion as they sit rock bottom of La Liga 2 with four defeats and no wins in their last seven games.

They host an Andorra side who are among the early season promotion contenders and the visitors look well placed to come away with maximum points. Els Tricolors have been strong on their travels with seven points from four trips and they can inflict another defeat on Sanse on Saturday.
