Cremonese vs Parma – Cremonese to win at 17/10 with bet365

Cremonese’s return to Serie A could hardly have started any better, as they have taken seven points from their opening three games, and they could add to that tally with another success at home to winless Parma.

Last season’s Serie B play-off winners opened the season with an eye-catching win at AC Milan and they have also triumphed in their only home fixture to date against another of the newly-promoted sides, Sassuolo.

With Jamie Vardy potentially earning his first start in this game, the feel-good factor can continue for Cremonese against a Parma side that have lost both their away matches to nil.

Jack Ogalbe

Strasbourg to beat Paris FC @ 15/8 with bet365

Newly promoted Paris FC have recorded entertaining wins over Metz and Brest, but may come unstuck against Strasbourg in Sunday’s early Ligue 1 fixture.

Le Racing’s connections are well known and after finishing seventh last season, BlueCo spent well over £100 million during the summer window.

The early signs are that their investment is paying off, with Liam Rosenior’s side winning three out of four in Ligue 1, losing only 3-2 at Monaco.

Their three wins were all by 1-0 scorelines but their price of 19-10 for the win at the Stade Jean Bouin means there is little need to complicate things.

Alex Wrigley

Marseille vs PSG – PSG to win at 9/10 with bet365

Marseille may have won both of their Ligue 1 home games this season, but defending champions PSG represent a huge step up in quality and Les Phoceens may find themselves lacking on Sunday.

Luis Enrique’s side have won all four Ligue 1 fixtures by an aggregate scoreline of 10-3 and opened their Champions League campaign with a 4-0 thrashing of Atalanta in midweek. They have won their last seven league meetings with Marseille, scoring 18 and conceding just two, and they can consolidate top spot at the Stade Velodrome.

Phil Agius

Bristol City vs Oxford – Bristol City & over 2.5 goals at 6/4 with bet365

Oxford have managed to stop their slow start turning into a crisis by securing back-to-back 2-2 home draws against Championship promotion contenders Coventry and Leicester but they may not fare so well against another top-six team when they visit Bristol City.

Gary Rowett’s side have picked up only two points from five league games and lost at Hull and Birmingham on their first two away trips of the season.

City were third in the table before the weekend action and won 4-2 at home to Hull before a 3-0 success at Sheffield Wednesday in their latest game.

The Robins have scored three or more goals themselves in three of their five league games and with Oxford’s last two fixtures each generating four goals, taking a City win with over 2.5 goals in the match appeals.

Dan Childs

Bournemouth vs Newcastle – Bournemouth at 27/20 with bet365

Bournemouth have responded superbly to their 4-2 loss to Liverpool on the Premier League’s opening night and they can register a fourth straight league win by seeing off Newcastle at the Vitality Stadium.

The Cherries were worthy 2-1 winners at home to Brighton last weekend and seem to be improving despite losing key defenders Dean Huijsen, Illya Zabarnyi and Milos Kerzez over the summer months.

They will be aiming to build on last season’s ninth place and may see Newcastle as a rival in the race for European qualification.

Newcastle played some good football in Thursday’s 2-1 loss at home to Barcelona, but they face a quick turnaround and may be below their best on the south coast.

Aaron Rogan

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Union Berlin – Frankfurt to win and BTTS at 2/1 with bet365

Union Berlin have suffered back-to-back defeats ahead of this trip, falling to a 3-0 loss at Borussia Dortmund and a 4-2 defeat against Hoffenheim. They’ve proven capable enough going forward, but defensively, there are problems.

Frankfurt have won three of their first four games, with both teams scoring in all four. They opened the Bundesliga season with a 4-1 win over Werder Bremen and a 3-1 victory at Hoffenheim. They returned to the Champions League with a 5-1 hammering of Galatasaray in midweek, so back them to win and concede on Sunday.
