Las Palmas vs Espanyol – Las Palmas to win at 17/20 with bet365
Las Palmas have found some serious form in La Liga, having lost only twice in eight outings since the end of October, and they can heap the misery on struggling Espanyol.
During that period, Las Palmas have won 2-1 away at leaders Barcelona while they have been successful in two of their last three at home against Girona and Real Valladolid.
So this should represent another excellent opportunity to claim the table against an Espanyol side that finds themselves third from bottom in the Spanish top-flight.
The visitors have taken only one point from their eight away trips and their road woes look set to be extended at the Estadio Gran Canaria.

Valencia vs Alaves – Valencia to win at 5/4 with bet365
Rock-bottom Valencia are without a win in three matches but they look capable of getting back to winning ways when they host fellow strugglers Alaves, who are five points ahead of their hosts.
Eight of the 11 points Valencia have collected this season have come at home and head coach Ruben Baraja’s side should have enough quality to overcome an Alaves team on a six-game winless run in all competitions.
El Glorioso have also lost six of their last seven away La Liga fixtures, picking up just one point during this dismal period, while a 2-1 win at Real Sociedad in August is their only road victory in the Spanish top flight.

Bochum vs Heidenheim – Under 2.5 goals at 11/10 with bet365
Two of the worst teams in the Bundesliga meet at Vonovia Ruhrstadion on Sunday as rock-bottom Bochum take on 16th-placed Heidenheim.
The hosts have only collected three points all season, but two of those have come in their last five league games. Even though they are winless, Bochum will be confident of giving Heidenheim a game, with the visitors winless in eight in all competitions.
None of Bochum’s last five games have contained more than two goals as they have tightened up at the back, while Heidenheim may be feeling the pace after playing in Europe on Thursday.
Avoiding defeat will be ideal for both clubs ahead of Christmas and a low-scoring battle is expected in Bochum.

Fulham vs Southampton – Fulham to win to nil at 13/8 with bet365
Russell Martin was sacked after Southampton’s 5-0 defeat to Tottenham last time out in the Premier League but things are unlikely to change dramatically in the short term for the south coast club.
Under-21s boss Simon Rusk took charge on Wednesday as Saints lost 2-1 to Liverpool in the EFL Cup and, while Ivan Juric looks likely to take charge permanently, it is hard to get behind Southampton right now.
They have picked up just five points from 16 games and have scored only four goals on the road in the league, so they could be shut out in defeat to Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

Manchester United vs Bournemouth – Bournemouth to win at 16/5 with bet365
Bournemouth won at Old Trafford last season and at a big price they look backable to repeat that feat on Sunday.
The Cherries claimed four points in the two meetings between these sides last season and they come into the game in fine form with 10 points from the last 12 available. They’ve also had a few extra days off as United were dumped out of the EFL Cup on Thursday, while Bournemouth’s last game was on Monday.
Ruben Amorim enjoyed a three-game unbeaten run to start his United career but they’ve now lost three of their last four domestic games. I will admit the price has attracted me to Bournemouth here as much as anything else but at 16/5 they’re definitely worth a look.

Gil Vicente vs Sporting – Viktor Gyokeres to score anytime at 4/5 with bet365
Sporting’s form may have taken a dip since the departure of Ruben Amorim, but the blame cannot be placed at the feet of Viktor Gyokeres as the Sweden international continues to tear up the Portuguese league.
He scored an extra-time winner in the Taca de Portugal in midweek for his 27th goal of the season for Sporting, 18 of which have come in 14 Primeira Liga outings. The 26-year-old now has an incredible 47 goals in 47 Primeira Liga outings since joining from Coventry, two of which came against Gil Vicente last season, and he will fancy his chances against a defence that has shipped ten goals in their last five matches.
