Sheffield United vs Norwich – Sheffield United to win at 11/10 with bet365
Sheffield United’s form may have stuttered since Christmas, but they have only lost one home match in the Championship this season and they should prove too strong for poor travellers Norwich at Bramall Lane.
Norwich have won once on the road since September, were thrashed 4-0 by Brighton in the FA Cup last time out and will once again have to make do without the Championship’s leading scorer Borja Sainz, who is suspended.
Couple all that with the Blades’ impressive recent record against Norwich – they are unbeaten in eight when facing the Canaries – and there is surely only going to be one winner.
Aidan Perkins
Swindon Town vs Barrow – Swindon to win at 6/5 with bet365
Two teams who have been struggling in the bottom half of League 2 meet at the County Ground when Swindon can edge out Barrow to secure an important victory as they battle to avoid the drop out of the EFL.
Town have won three of their last four home league games, drawing the other, and even though they are five places and three points worse off than Barrow, Ian Holloway‘s side will be fairly confident they can come out on top on Saturday as their opponents’ away record is dismal.
The Bluebirds have failed to win any of their last nine league matches on the road and they look to be in for more pain at Swindon.
Dan Childs
Mansfield vs Wycombe – Mansfield at 29/20 with bet365
Mansfield exited the FA Cup on Tuesday with a 2-0 loss at home to League One rivals Wigan, but they can maintain their third tier playoff hopes by defeating second-placed Wycombe at the One Call Stadium.
Nigel Clough’s side have adapted superbly to League One football and are not without hope of securing a second successive promotion.
They have won four of their last five league games and can take advantage of a Wycombe side reeling from the departure of their former manager, Matt Bloomfield, to Championship strugglers Luton.
Wycombe were beaten 2-1 at Charlton on their last road trip and are set to suffer against the Stags.

Eibar vs Albacete – Eibar to win at 10/11 with bet365
Eibar are still just about in the promotion mix in La Liga 2 and their home form is what has kept that in touch with the top six, with 23 of their 27 points so far coming at home.
Eibar have five wins in their last seven at the Municipal de Ipurua and they should be able to come out on top against out-of-sorts Albacete, who are drifting towards a mid-table finish or even a potential survival scrap after a five-game winless run.
The visitors have four defeats in their last seven away, winning just once, and they’ve failed to score in four of their last five games – so Eibar should be able to grind out a win here as they look to close in on the play-off places.

Getafe vs Barcelona – Barca to win to nil at 6/4 with bet365
Barcelona haven’t conceded across their last six clashes with Getafe and that streak can continue on Saturday night. The Catalans beat Real Madrid 5-2 in Saudi Arabia to lift the Super Cup last weekend, but their return to league action should be more routine.
Getafe have already lost to nil on the road against each of the top three. The hosts have also failed to score in all four home meetings with teams in the top half. Back them to draw a blank as Barca aim to build on a strong start to 2025.
Alex Wrigley
Rio Ave vs Sporting – Rio Ave win or draw double chance at 5/2 with bet365
Sporting may still be top of the table, but their lead has been slashed to just a single point after a difficult spell since Ruben Amorim’s departure.
The visitors have won just four of their 12 competitive games since Amorim left for Manchester United, with successor Joao Pereira lasting only eight games before being replaced by Rui Borges.
They are winless in four competitive away games and face a Rio Ave side with a phenomenal home record. The last time they lost a league game at Estadio do Rio Ave Futebol Clube was October 2023. 20 games have passed since then, including draws against Sporting, Braga, and Benfica.
