Parma vs Bologna – Bologna to win at 10/11 with bet365

The departures of Joshua Zirkzee, Riccardo Calafiori and their manager, Thiago Motta, hit Bologna hard in the early part of the season but the Italian side are beginning to look back to their best.

Vincenzo Italiano’s men are unbeaten in ten games, beating Atalanta and Borussia Dortmund as well as earning points against Inter Milan and Roma in that run, and should have too much for struggling Parma.

The hosts have gone seven games without a win, losing each of the last four, and Bologna look a decent investment at a shade of odds-on.

Gareth Freeman

Burgos vs Real Oviedo – Burgos to win at 19/10 with bet365

Burgos sit just outside the relegation places in Spain’s second tier but they’ve started to put a bit of a run together and at near 2/1 underdogs they look worth the risk to beat Real Oviedo on Saturday.

Burgos come into this game after back-to-back wins over Racing Santander and Zaragoza, while Oviedo have won just one of their last three.

Home form hasn’t necessarily been the problem for the Burgaleses this season as they’ve won six of their 13 games at this venue. Oviedo have only managed four wins in their 13 trips and they look vulnerable here against a team making a concerted effort to pull clear of danger.

Aston Villa vs Chelsea – Aston Villa to win at 17/10 with bet365

Chelsea are rated favourites when they head to Villa Park to face Aston Villa on Saturday and that looks wide of the mark.

The Blues were hammered 3-0 at Brighton last weekend, the west Londoners failed to register a single shot on target in that defeat and Enzo Maresca’s men have won only three of their last 11 matches.

Those victories came against Morecambe in the FA Cup and struggling Premier League duo Wolves and West Ham. Aston Villa have to go again after their midweek 2-2 draw with Liverpool, but that doesn’t appear as big a negative as the prices suggest.

Tom McGarry

Mainz vs St Pauli – Mainz to win at 4/5 with bet365

Mainz have turned from relegation strugglers last season into European hopefuls under Bo Henriksen this term and, having taken 16 points from the last 18 available on home soil, they should be able to blow St Pauli away.

After an upturn in form in January, St Pauli have lost back-to-back games to RB Leipzig and Freiburg without scoring and they could still get dragged back into a relegation battle.

Having convincingly won the reverse meeting between the two sides 3-0 in October – a match where they were two goals in front after just 16 minutes – Mainz should have no problem completing the double over their visitors from Hamburg.

Casa Pia vs Gil Vicente – Casa Pia to win at 6/5 with bet365

Gil Vicente are just three points clear of the bottom three in Portugal following a four-game losing streak. The visitors have the Primeira Liga’s worst away record, securing only six points from 11 games on the road this season.

Casa Pia have built their European push on good home form and they’ve won three of their last four home league games. Gil Vicente have lost all five visits to the top seven so far this season, conceding 16 goals and scoring just twice. Back them for another loss in Saturday’s trip.

Alex Wrigley

Antwerp vs OH Leuven – Antwerp to win at 17/20 with bet365

Fourth-placed Anderlecht are the only side to avoid defeat at the Bosuilstadion in Antwerp’s last four outings there, and the quartet of scalps taken by The Great Old in this period includes second-placed Club Brugge and third-placed Union Saint-Gilloise.

That doesn’t bode well for OH Leuven, who head north to Antwerp having lost their last five competitive away games without scoring. They have only once away from home all season and have been beaten in five of their last six trips to this stadium.
