Plymouth completed a league double over Blackpool last season, winning 1-0 at home and 4-0 away, and they can maintain that dominance on their latest visit to Lancashire.
The Pilgrims have claimed back-to-back wins over Doncaster and Barnsley, scoring three on each occasion, and they will have high hopes of pushing for League One promotion.
This could be a good time to be heading to face Blackpool, who are without a win in three having been held to a 2-2 draw at home to struggling Bromley last time out.

Preston North End relieved Paul Heckingbottom of his managerial duties on Sunday after six defeats in seven games. A trip to QPR will be another difficult challenge, with the R’s losing only one game inside 90 minutes this season.
The hosts have only kept two clean sheets all season and this fixture is usually one for the neutral, with both teams finding the back of the net in four consecutive meetings. However, the Lilywhites are in disarray at the minute and should fall to their fourth successive defeat on the road in the Championship.

They play Varsity rivals Cambridge at home on Saturday, a Cambridge side who admittedly have also made a strong start since winning promotion.
But Oxford were two divisions superior as recently as May and that could be evident at fortress Kassam on Saturday.

Southampton won the two Championship meetings between themselves and Wrexham by an aggregate score of 7-2 last season and they are fancied to pick up where they left off with another success against their hosts.
Phil Parkinson is under pressure after his side were beaten 6-0 by West Ham last time out in what has been a disappointing campaign for the Red Dragons so far. They have only won one of their seven league matches and look set to come up short against a Southampton team who have scored 18 in seven games.
The Saints brushed Bristol City aside 4-1 last weekend and can repeat the trick in this clash.

Roma won their last five Serie A matches last season and burst out of the traps this term, beating Fiorentina, Lecce, Atalanta and Torino in their first four games.
All four of those teams start the weekend in the bottom half of the table and Roma’s winning streak may well be ended by champions Inter.
The Nerazzurri have also won their first four league matches, fighting back from 2-0 down in a 3-2 home victory over last season’s runners-up Napoli.
Inter finished 14 points ahead of third-placed Roma in 2025-26 and they can assert their superiority in the Italian capital this weekend.
