Premier League Saturday Night Ultimate Bet Builder

Arsenal have been dislodged from top spot in the Premier League, and the Gunners face a tricky encounter with Newcastle as they aim to return to the summit this weekend.

We’ve backed the Gunners to secure the points in our Arsenal vs Newcastle predictions, and I’ve picked out a couple of card bets for what is likely to be a nervy affair, which form a 74/1 bet builder treble.

William Osula to score anytime

Newcastle have struggled in attacking areas this term, but William Osula is emerging as a real option for Eddie Howe. The 22-year-old Dane has been the bright spot in consecutive defeats, netting against both Crystal Palace and Bournemouth.

Anthony Gordon is struggling with his fitness ahead of this clash, missing last weekend’s encounter with the Cherries. Nick Woltemade seems to have dropped completely from Howe’s radar, and Yoane Wissa hasn’t been able to reach the heights he displayed at Brentford last season.

Osula has stepped up, and he can continue his scoring streak at the Emirates.

Kai Havertz to be carded

Newcastle are third in the league for fouls committed by their opponents, while they rank second in opposition bookings this season. That impressive record of drawing fouls and bookings could be a problem for Kai Havertz, especially as he’s likely to drop deep and operate around the likes of Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali.

Havertz hasn’t been booked in the Premier League this season, but he picked up 16 cards across the last two league campaigns, despite only featuring 23 times last term.

The German has been booked on 21 occasions since moving to the Emirates, and four of those cautions have been shown in clashes with Newcastle. He’s been booked five times against the Magpies in his career, more than any other club.

Lewis Hall to be carded

Bukayo Saka’s return to the matchday squad is good news for Arsenal, but less so for opposing left-back Lewis Hall. The England international is likely to spend the 90 minutes up against one of his international teammates, with Noni Madueke drawing plenty of fouls while deputising for Saka in recent weeks.

Hall has been booked three times this season, and he is backed to pick up another caution with a difficult 90 minutes in prospect.
