It promises to be a weird and wonderful season for Lazio, and having lost to Mantova in the Coppa Italia, Gennaro Gattuso’s side began their Serie A campaign with a 1-0 win over Bologna.
Gattuso took over a team that finished ninth and although some big names have departed, his board’s recruitment appears solid.
Sunday’s visitors Genoa beat Ascoli 4-1 in the cup but followed with a 2-0 home defeat to Napoli, holding out until the 82nd minute when Kevin De Bruyne broke the deadlock and Antonio Vergara doubled the advantage.
However, they have failed to win their last six meetings with Lazio, most recently losing 3-2 at the Olimpico in January.
Gattuso’s good start can continue, although it may not last much longer.

Manchester United vs Ipswich – Ipswich or draw double chance @ 7/4 with bet365
Ipswich will have taken great confidence from last Saturday’s well-deserved 2-1 triumph at home to Sunderland and they look overpriced to follow by avoiding defeat at Old Trafford.
There were lots of positive early signs for the Tractor Boys, who won their opening match with the help of a well crafted first goal assisted by Julio Enciso and scored by Emersonn.
The Suffolk side seem to have recruited well and can offer decent opposition to Manchester United, who were absolutely dreadful in their 2-0 loss at Hull.
United finished last season impressively but they looked soft against the tenacious Tigers and are difficult to trust at such short odds.

Mansfield vs Luton – Luton to win @ 13/10 with bet365
Luton have made a solid start to the League One season, winning 4-3 at Reading in a thrilling encounter before drawing 2-2 at home to Notts County, and three points can be collected when they head to Mansfield.
Nigel Clough’s hosts have lost three of their four matches in all competitions, two of those coming at home, and the fact they have conceded ten goals during this period spells bad news against an opponent in red-hot form in the final third.
Although exiting the EFL Cup on Thursday, Luton performed admirably in the 2-0 loss at Premier League outfit Chelsea and Jack Wilshere’s men, who are unbeaten in their last eight away games in the league, can return to winning ways against the Stags.

Cagliari vs Inter Milan – Inter Milan to win to nil @ 6/5 with bet365
Starting their Serie A title defence with a 4-1 win at home to Monza, Inter Milan hit the road for the first time in the league this season at Cagliari.
Unbeaten in their last 13 meetings with the Rossoblu, with 11 wins in that time, the Nerazzurri have been the dominant force in this fixture.
Inter won 2-0 away and 3-0 at home in their two Serie A meetings with Cagliari last season and, having not conceded in their last three visits to the Unipol Domus, the Nerazzurri are fancied to win to nil again on Sunday.

Monaco vs Marseille – Over 3.5 Goals @ 11/8 with bet365
Sunday’s final Ligue 1 offering sees Marseille heading for the principality to face Monaco and it could be a game that serves up goals.
There have been 16 goals in the last four meetings at the Stade Louis II, including 3-2 wins for each side.
Marseille put four past Strasbourg in their season-opener, while Monaco have scored eight times in three games so far. The hosts have scored two or more goals in eight of their last nine home assignments and we could see a high-scoring affair between these two rivals again.
