Martin Odegaard over 1.5 tackles @ 6/5 vs Senegal

Odegaard made two tackles in Norway’s win over Iraq, but his defensive work continues to fly under the radar. The Arsenal man hasn’t quite returned to his best on the ball since his last injury, but he’s improved defensively under Mikel Arteta.

Odegaard oscillates between the right of Norway’s midfield three, with striker Alexander Sorloth expected to drift inside despite starting as their right winger. That leaves Odegaard with an extra defensive burden, with Senegal expected to attack with Sadio Mane and Malick Diouf down their left flank.

France made 19 tackles in their win over Senegal, and 15 of those were won by their four players on the right-hand side; winger Michael Olise, right-back Jules Kounde, right-sided centre-half Dayot Upamecano and Aurelien Tchouameni on the right of their midfield two. All four of those players made at least two tackles, so back Odegaard to be busy.

Nizar Al Rashdan to be booked @ 4/1 vs Algeria

Al Rashdan led Jordan in fouls committed (17) and yellow cards (4) in qualifying. He committed two fouls in the clash with Austria in their opening match, and they meet an Algerian side that drew 13 fouls against Argentina.
