I started using Parimatch during Euro 2024 and it has remained in the rotation ever since. I like the modern feel of the site and there is always an enhanced odds offer or bet builder boost to grab for the football. Since my World Cup betting is going to need all the help it can get, I’m banking on these offers to continue well into the tournament.

SBK consistently offer competitive odds. I was attracted to them for this reason back in 2022 and they have been among my go-to bookies for my weekend football singles and accas ever since. They regularly increase their output of odds boosts and promos on big events, so I am looking forward to some boosted prices ahead of the World Cup. I am confident that they will prove to be one of the UK’s best betting sites for the World Cup.

I’ve been using bet365 for around 20 years now, especially during the big football tournaments, and it’s remained my go-to bookmaker. The site is easy to navigate, and everything feels quick, from placing bets to checking live markets. I like that there are usually price boosts or Bet Builder offers available on the major matches, which adds a bit of extra value. With so many games coming up, I’m expecting those World Cup offers to keep me interested throughout the tournament.

Call me old school, but a huge part of what I consider to be the “best” when it comes to bookies is odds. Sure, promotions, bonuses and a swanky app help, but at the end of the day, it’s all about making money, and to do that, you need the best odds possible. BetVictor excels with their pricing, and the reason for that? Low juice. They skim less off the top, which puts more in my back pocket. Cheers, Victor.

I only registered with 10bet a few months ago, but honestly speaking, it didn’t take me long to become really fond of the platform. The betting app’s easy to use, it’s clean, everything is laid out nicely, and you don’t have to dig around to find what you’re looking for. They run regular promotions too, which is always a bonus, and the football section is genuinely excellent. Overall, I’ve had a really smooth experience so far, and it definitely feels like 10bet can hold its own against the bigger names, especially with the 2026 World Cup just around the corner.

Our Fallback World Cup 2026 Betting Sites

Most punters use a variety of bookmakers to get in on the action. We are no different. Yes, we have our preferred picks, but if the market is missing, the price isn’t right, or the promos just aren’t there, these are our backup bookies we’ll be using for our World Cup bets.

I will be using FanTeam for my World Cup Fantasy Football bets but will be keeping an eye on their World Cup betting markets at the same time. They always have an enhanced ‘Bet of the Day’ and price boosts for the main matches. I suspect the World Cup will be no different.

Coral are a solid operator with a proven track record for football betting in general and tournament betting in particular. They are bound to have a number of ways to add value to World Cup betting, and I have every confidence that their prices, both pre-match and live, will be up there with the best. Coral consistently offers deep markets for important football matches, so I know that I will have a great deal of choice when making my picks for World Cup games throughout the tournament.

For me, Betfred stands out because it’s one of those bookies you can rely on for solid pricing across the major events – I’m going to assume the World Cup will be the same. Whether its international tournaments or domestic leagues, they’re regularly among the most competitive on the match odds markets. It’s not always flashy, but when you’re consistently getting good value where it matters most, that’s what keeps me coming back.

They say variety is the spice of life. So having the option to bet on spreads and fixed odds is SpreadEx’s biggest asset. Granted, I don’t use the spread betting feature all that often, but even if these guys were just your standard bookie, I’d still have them in my arsenal. Again, their odds are super competitive, and to put that into some context, at the time of writing, they are the best price on four of the top seven teams in the World Cup outright winner market. And it’s not a one-off either, as they’re right up there for pricing across Europe’s biggest domestic leagues as well.

A lot of people would turn to BOYLE Sports for their excellent horse racing coverage, but having used the platform for a while now, I’ve learnt not to dismiss their football offering. I’ve been able to boost my bet builders, take advantage of acca insurance, and enjoy a vast array of markets. I have a feeling once the World Cup begins, BOYLE Sports will be the dark horse of the betting world, and I’ll be one of the people keeping a close eye on their coverage.

Meet Our Team of Bettors Behind the Picks

Betting is more than just stats, data and vibes – It’s personality, style, and most importantly, gut. Our motley crew of bettors all bring something different to the table, which is why they often choose different bookmakers to place their bets.

Danny Hulbert Smart Bets Rolled Up into Big Accas
Sports Football, Golf, Politics
Betting Style I prefer the niche markets in football like tackles/fouls, corners and shots.  This often leads me to using bet builders or system bets to keep the bankroll ticking over.
No1 Pick for World Cup Betting Parimatch
Back-Up World Cup Betting Site FanTeam
Your 2026 World Cup Betting Strategy My plan is to identify a couple of dark horses to win groups they have no right to win and add those to some more favourable group winner picks in accas. For the knockouts, I’ll most certainly be into the bet builders and fantasy bets.
Chris Sampson Data driven, I like evidence to underpin my picks.
Sports Football, Athletics, Tennis, Rugby Union
Betting Style Stats based accas and bet builders are my most common wagers during tournaments. I also like to research a couple of outright picks before the competition kicks off.
No1 Pick for World Cup Betting SBK
Back-Up World Cup Betting Site Coral
Your 2026 World Cup Betting Strategy With tournament betting, I always look to get a couple of outright picks in, using as much data as possible. With the group stages, I will focus on accas and bet builders on the matches. With 48 teams in the tournament, the group stages will be heavily skewed towards the favourites, therefore value will be difficult to find when betting on group winners and teams to qualify. I will revise my outright winner picks after the group stage and continue to back singles and accas throughout the knockout stages. I will base as many of my selections as possible on hard evidence, based on the past season at club, international level and on previous World Cups.
Gary Christie I find quick wins by spotting strengths, and exploiting weaknesses.
Sports Horse racing, football, cricket, rugby
Betting Style I love singles, and the occasional double/treble, as those reliable quick wins mean I accumulate profit steadily over time. I like to be a betting predator – looking for weaknesses in a team that their opposition (and I) can exploit.
No1 Pick for World Cup Betting bet365
Back-Up World Cup Betting Site Betfred
Your 2026 World Cup Betting Strategy I’ll be looking for value in individual games – which over a day or two can turn into nice doubles or trebles. Which camp isn’t getting along with each other? Who has lost a key player or two (Ekitike, anyone)? Who has that star striker who can change a game on their own? I don’t bet on reputation, but on the situation right now.
Jonathan Askew Data-backed, value-heavy
Sports Football, Golf, F1, Darts, Cricket
Betting Style I’m a sucker for a good acca. The sweet spot for me is around 5/1 to 20/1, but I’ve been known for those boosted long-shot paydays as well. If the numbers add up, and the value is there, it’s going in. Trust the process.
No1 Pick for World Cup Betting BetVictor
Back-Up World Cup Betting Site SpreadEx
Your 2026 World Cup Betting Strategy Value in the early rounds will be slim, with so many short-priced favourites on offer, so I’ll be hammering the bet builders. I’m looking at tight groups (A, B, D and H) for outright value, and a conservative bet on the initial outright winner market – I really like France this year.
Seb Sternik Stats nerd with an eye for a bargain
Sports Football, Darts, MMA, Boxing
Betting Style I love a good acca, especially when the odds grow above 10/1. But my true guilty pleasures are long shot bets and obscure football fixtures. Do you know those people who research and bet on UEFA National League D games… yes, that’s me.
No1 Pick for World Cup Betting 10bet
Back-Up World Cup Betting Site BOYLE Sports
Your 2026 World Cup Betting Strategy Looking at the groups, I’m not seeing any value due to a massive gap between some of the nations. Individual match bet builders will have to do for the early stage of the tournament. On top of that, I’ll be keeping a close eye on goalscorers – especially the top names from the European leagues.

Why We’re Using These UK Betting Sites for the 2026 World Cup

We asked our team of bettors to do a bit of a deep dive into why they have chosen these UK Bookmakers for their World Cup 2026 betting.

Why Danny Hulbert Is Using Parimatch for World Cup Betting

I use Parimatch predominantly for football betting. Their market coverage is up there with the best online bookies and they display their boosts and offers clearly on the football page. I like the simplicity of the site as it makes it easy to navigate while feeling modern and fresh, albeit with a dark mode theme. I’m also a big fan of their lucky dip bets as you can sometimes land huge odds for very favourable selections.

The only thing I’m not a fan of is their coverage of novelty and politics markets. I like to get involved in silly stuff now and then but often find myself using alternatives like William Hill for bets that are slightly out there.

Here’s my last bet slip with Parimatch: It’s a bet builder and lucky dip on the Europa League. As soon as I have my World Cup bets in, I’ll let you know.

Why Chris Sampson Is Using SBK for World Cup Betting

SBK are one of my top football betting sites. They consistently offer fantastic odds. An example is the two Champions League quarter-final matches on 15th April where the average overround was 103.5. The bookie taking a margin of less than 4% could be invaluable across five weeks of tournament betting.

As well as the fantastic prices, I find that there are plenty of markets and scope for accas and bet builders. While promos are not SBK’s forte, there has been some improvement of late, including 25% bet builder boosts for selected events. Another promo is the SBK Bet Feed, where you can share your wagers and be rewarded with a £1 free bet token for every five different punters that copy your shared bet. The mobile app is also superb, a legacy from when SBK was a mobile only sportsbook.

SBK could do more when it comes to promotions, though, as I have mentioned, they are beginning to develop this. In some areas there is not as much depth as with some of the more established bookies, however, for an event like the World Cup, I am sure that there will be plenty of betting markets for each match.

This is my latest wager with SBK – A bet builder for the Monday night Premier League match between Crystal Palace and West Ham.

Why Gary Christie Is Using bet365 for World Cup Betting

I’ve been using bet365 for the best part of 20 years now, and it’s still my daily go-to. For me, it’s the ultimate all-rounder – if I’m placing a quick bet, building an acca, or just browsing markets, this is usually where I end up. The site feels slick, and when it comes to football, you’re not beating them for sheer depth. Whatever niche angle you’re looking at, chances are they’ve priced it up.

What really keeps me coming back is the live data. It’s sharp, it’s quick, and it actually helps when I’m thinking about a cashout rather than just guessing. I’m also a fan of their acca boosts – they’re not life-changing, but they do give some of my bets that little extra edge. And when the big tournaments roll around, like the World Cup, you can pretty much guarantee a steady stream of tailored offers and promos.

If I had to nitpick, it’s about reliability on massive nights. I’ve seen it crash more than once during big Champions League games, which isn’t ideal when you’re trying to get a bet on or cash out. Fingers crossed they’ve ironed that out – because aside from that, it’s as solid as it gets.

Why Jonathan Askew Is Using BetVictor for World Cup Betting

I’ve been using BetVictor for 20+ years now. Who of you can remember the OG Victor Chandler? If you know, you know. I’ve stayed pretty loyal to them over that time, because they’re a bit like Ronseal for me. Their ad campaigns harp on about having the best odds, and for the most part, they do.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t use them for every bet. I’m still a bet365 fanboy at heart, but if you’re not looking for all the bells and whistles and love a good range of footie markets to bet on, you can’t go too far wrong here.

There are parts of the site which annoy me. I HATE that when you make bet builders, once you group your initial picks and add to the bet slip, you can’t then add more. You need to remove the lot and then start again. It’s so frustrating, and to be honest, I tend to avoid them for these bets and stick with bet365.

Ending on a high, they’re a safe, reliable sportsbook. You can deposit from as little as a fiver, get a free bet worth up to £40, withdraw in a matter of minutes and log in using Face ID via their app. Are they moving the needle? No. But, it’s reliability that I’m after, and few are more reliable than BetVictor.

Why Seb Sternik Is Using 10bet for World Cup Betting

When you think about the biggest names in online betting, platforms like bet365, William Hill, and Ladbrokes are usually the first to come to mind. They’ve been around for years and have built up huge reputations. Honestly speaking, 10bet isn’t quite at that level yet, and I’m not here to persuade you otherwise. But, I will admit that the platform is moving in the right direction. Its profile continues to grow, and from my own experience, there’s a lot to like about what it offers.

One of the first things that stood out to me is the user experience. I’ve opened plenty of betting accounts over the years, and one of my biggest frustrations is overly cluttered sportsbooks packed with endless stats, flashing odds, and too many buttons. Seriously, some of them are havens for migraines.

Thankfully, 10bet takes a different approach. The layout is clean, the design feels more relaxed, and it’s genuinely easy to find what you’re looking for. It makes the whole experience feel a lot calmer.

Another big plus for me is the odds. I’m not saying that 10bet will beat every competitor, but from my experience, they offer consistently competitive odds. In fact, my last couple of accumulators ended up being placed on 10bet purely because they offered the best value. And let’s face it, that is ultimately what most bettors care about.

Generally speaking, I would argue that 10bet is a solid option for casual and regular bettors.

Best World Cup Betting Sites for Accas – Do We Switch?

Accas are a key component of a punter’s betting arsenal and will likely feature heavily during the 2026 World Cup group stage betting phase due to the high volume of games on any given day. While some sites are great for offers and niche markets, not all cover the acca discipline as well as others. We asked our team of bettors to weigh-in on how well their chosen World Cup betting sites perform for accas.

Parimatch cover accas really well. I don’t see myself switching bookies for this reason. Having checked the outright world cup group stage betting markets, I can select a group winner, to qualify market, and straight forecast for the group, and back them all in a treble. The only thing that may turn my head is if I have a very niche selection in mind that isn’t offered. Otherwise, I’m sticking with Parimatch.

As SBK is an operator I regularly use for football accas, I will be using them for most of my World Cup accumulator betting. I usually have no problem finding the markets I want and their odds are competitive. I am confident that this will be the same for World Cup betting. The new acca lab feature, with a streamlined process for multi bets and the ability to copy fellow punter’s selections, makes me even more likely to stick. Should I be unable to find what I want with SBK, other World Cup betting sites that I will turn to will be Coral and bet365, both of whom have a tremendous range of markets and often offer boosted odds for accas.

I’m likely to stick here. bet365 uses its sheer size to compete well on 1X2 odds anyway, but even when they’re a shade below one or two others, their acca boosts kick in, and all is well in the world.

I feel like I’m harping on about odds here, but between BetVictor and SpreadEx, they will probably take 80% of my World Cup accas this year because of exactly that. It’s absolutely crucial you get the bookie with the best price for these bets, as even small discrepancies in singles have a major effect on the overall price of an acca. That said, I’ll go wherever the best price is for the markets I want to bet on, whether these two or elsewhere.

I’m sticking with 10bet for accas. As previously mentioned, I used the bookie for my last two accumulators, simply because 10bet offered the best odds. The platform offers occasional acca boosts and bonuses, while also providing a clean interface and a hassle-free bet slip.

Best World Cup Betting Sites for Bet Builders – Do Our Picks Change?

While accas are likely to dominate the early stages of our World Cup betting, bet builders will undoubtedly become our go-to as the tournament progresses, with fewer matches taking place on a single day. Bet builders can offer great value when you land the right combo, but will our pro punters be sticking with their No1 picks here or twisting in search of better prices and niche markets?

I’m definitely sticking with Parimatch for my World Cup bet builders. They compete with the best bookies in this department, cover a variety of regular and niche markets, and Parimatch tend to have bet builder boosts for all the top matches.

Once again, there will be times where I will stick with SBK for my World Cup bet builders, due to their superb odds and the choice of markets available. Should they be offering their odds boost promo, where bet builders can be enhanced by 25% then staying with SBK will be more likely. Coral also offer a quality bet builder service, often offering boosted odds, however, I think that I will end up using bet365 at some point over the tournament. Their prices are competitive and they often have pre-picked bet builders with enhanced odds. Their depth of markets means that they cannot be overlooked and if I am struggling to find value on a particular fixture then I am sure they will come into play.

Again, I’m more than likely to remain with bet365 for my World Cup bet builders, and for one key reason – they have the most choice. I might find a really niche angle on a game, not just total goals, corners and the likes, but something a little more deliberate. Some bookies won’t allow such markets on bet builders, but bet365 always has a massive choice.

For my World Cup bet builders, I would jump across to bet365. I hate the UX on BetVictor for bet builders, as you have to remove the whole bet to adjust it once it’s added to your bet slip. At bet365, you can chop and change easily, and you get way more markets, such as goalkeeper saves (massively underrated and undervalued) and players to be fouled, which is surprisingly rare.

I’m throwing some backing behind my second World Cup bookie, BOYLE Sports. I’m a big fan of the bet builder function on the platform, it’s really easy to use, it works across several sports, there is a wide range of markets, and there are regular boosts as well. On top of that, the odds are typically competitive, especially when it comes to high-profile fixtures.

Best World Cup Betting Sites for Live Betting – Does It Change Our Minds?

Game faces on! With tight margins and the clock ticking, there’s no room for error when it comes to World Cup live betting sites. Time it right and grant yourself a license to be smug. Get it wrong and hide, from yourself, until the start of the 2026/27 Premier League season. No pressure then, lads. Where will our team of experts be placing their live bets for the World Cup?

This is where I may waver. If I am to partake in some World Cup live betting, I will probably venture elsewhere. Parimatch is fine for a quick live bet on your more straight-forward markets, but bet365 and William Hill have a much cleaner interface and display relevant stats clearly next to the ticker. With Parimatch, I have to click around to see all the stats, which can hamper my focus on the match itself.

SBK are solid for in-play betting. When wagering live I like to use my mobile so SBK’s excellent app is a big factor. Like their pre-match odds, the live odds at SBK are attractive, you can keep track of the action via graphics and there are plenty of stats to hand. I also rate the live offering at Coral and Parimatch, so I can’t rule out using these World Cup bookmakers for some of my in-play bets.

Yeah, you guessed it, I’m sticking with bet365 for my World Cup live betting. Their live data is pretty much unmatched from what I’ve experienced, with cashout amounts and the process itself being quick.

For my World Cup live betting, I’d opt for SpreadEx. Now, I know some don’t like the retro look, and it’s not as soft as BetVictor design-wise, but it performs exceptionally well. I love that they have live acca boosts and price boosts – one of the few bookies to offer them – and that you can jump between live spreads and fixed odds with a click of a button. Quality stuff.

I’d be lying if I said that 10bet or BOYLE Sports have the best live betting features in the game. That accolade belongs to bet365, who do live betting better than anyone else (in my humble opinion). From the speed of updates, to live streaming and ease of use, I really think bet365 are in a class of their own when it comes to this area of betting.

Best World Cup Betting Sites for Offers – Where Are We Getting the Most Punch for Our Pounds?

Getting more for our money is what we do best; whether it’s a good value bet or a deal that just can’t be sniffed at. Finding a good bookmaker promo code is obviously step one, but when it comes to the biggest tournament on the planet, ensuring that we have plenty of daily World Cup offers at our disposal is crucial. How do our team of bettors fancy their chosen bookies in the free bet/bonus department for the World Cup?

I’m always on the hunt for a good deal but I’m generally happy with the number of boosts and promos I currently get with Parimatch. While there haven’t been any specific World Cup offers released just yet, I am confident that once we get closer to the tournament, they will start rolling in.

SBK are improving in terms of bookmaker offers, but there are other betting sites that I will be looking to in terms of promos. Coral consistently have odds boosts and are likely to have some World Cup specific offers. Their Football Super Series is likely to be tailored to the World Cup so I will be constantly checking out their site to see what is on offer. Betfred often have decent bonuses related to football and I will be keeping a lookout for operators where I do not currently have an account to try to take advantage of a welcome bonus in the run up to the tournament. A bookie where I will be able to get a free bet to use on an outright pick or some bonuses which I could use on my World Cup wagers is what I am looking for. Fanteam are one such operator who might fit the bill.

This is the one area that might have me switching for a moment. I won’t know until the time comes, but Betfred have shown themselves capable in the past of coming up with some good offers. I have to bear in mind that, when I’m betting in singles and doubles, any chance I get to boost my returns has to be taken.

If bigger is better for you, then they don’t come any bigger than SpreadEx’s £60 free bet package. It’s split across different bet types and includes a foray into horse racing as well, but no one is offering more than £60’s worth of cash. That said, if you want something a little smaller and fully aligned to betting on the World Cup, BetVictor is the way to go. You’re also going to get daily boosted odds and early payout when your bet goes two up on 1X2 markets.

There’s a lot to like about the range of promotions available on 10bet. The welcome bonus is strong, offering customers a 100% bonus up to £50. There is also a £10 free bet for every £100 bet on sports, and an additional £10 free bet when placing a £50 sports bet on the app. BOYLE Sports are a little more football-centric, offering promotions like sub swap, bet builder boosts and acca boosts. It’s tough to call, but I would personally lean towards 10bet, considering you get a little more for your buck.
