There’s no better time to bet on basketball than the NBA playoffs. Stars up their minutes, coaches cut their rotations to keep their biggest names on the court, and the playoff series format guarantees repeat match-ups. That allows us to take advantage of potential mismatches and find the best value player props.
We’ll be providing you with daily NBA player prop bets throughout the 2026 playoffs, with expert analysis and breakdowns for each selection!
We closed the 2025 play-offs with nine wins from our final 10 prop bets, including eight winners across the NBA Finals.

Today’s NBA Prop Bet of the Day
DeAndre Ayton Under 8.5 rebounds vs Houston Rockets
The Lakers are without their two top scorers, Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, leaving LeBron James to do much of the heavy lifting. He shouldn’t expect too much help from former top pick DeAndre Ayton, who has had a torrid time against the Rockets this season.
Ayton averaged 8.0 rebounds for the campaign. This line is set slightly higher given his minutes are expected to increase. However, the former Phoenix Suns centre averaged 5.7 rebounds per game against the Rockets across three regular-season meetings.
The Rockets give up just 40.6 rebounds per 100 possessions, which is the second-lowest rate in the league. They’re brilliant on the glass, and they’ve got so much size across the court. Ayton failed to record eight rebounds in seven of his final nine games, so this under looks like good value.
Saturday’s NBA prop outsiders
Nickeil Alexander-Walker to score 25+ Points vs NY Knicks
Alexander-Walker has enjoyed a breakout season for Atlanta, and he’ll be running point in this series following Trae Young’s mid-season departure. The former Minnesota Timberwolves guard has excelled since moving to Georgia last summer. He’s recorded 25 points or more on 19 occasions, finishing the season with 26.4 points per game across his appearances in April.
In three meetings with the Knicks this season, Alexander-Walker has scored 36, 25, and 23 points. He finished that third game two points shy of 25 due to one of his worst shooting nights of the season. The Knicks concede threes at the fifth-highest rate in the league, and Alexander-Walker can capitalise.
Scottie Barnes 10+ Assists
When point guard Immanuel Quickley missed eight games in the final weeks of the season, Scottie Barnes stepped up to run the Raptors’ offence. With Quickley dealing with plantar fasciitis and a hamstring injury, he’s unlikely to feature that much in Game 1.
With back-up PG Jamal Shead lacking much scoring threat, expect to see Barnes running the team, with Ja’Kobe Walter stepping in to add more three-point shooting.
Barnes averaged 10.6 assists per game in that stretch covering for Quickley. He failed to hit 10 assists just twice, playing just 23 minutes in a blowout win over Memphis in one of those. The Raptors led the NBA in assists per 100 possessions, and they face a Cavs team which is middle of the road defensively, giving up just shy of 27 assists per game. Barnes has the size and passing range to punish Cleveland, making the 5/1 on offer look appealing.
What are NBA Player Props?
In addition to betting on games, which we cover in our daily NBA tips, player props allow you to predict how a player will perform in individual stat categories. The most popular bets tend to be over/under player props, which mostly revolve around points, rebounds and assists.
NBA prop lines appear a little after the main moneyline and spread odds. These are often linked to player stat lines from the regular season. Our NBA playoff betting strategy is focused on finding favourable matchups or increased minutes, which can help players to hit the over.
When will the NBA prop bet of the day be posted?
With the playoffs running almost daily from now until June, our daily NBA props will go live each afternoon in the UK. We aim to have our best NBA prop bet for tonight’s playoff games live well before the action tips off.
Underrated NBA playoff prop markets
The most popular NBA prop bets tend to be based around points + rebounds + assists (PRA). However, betting markets for player stats extend far beyond that. Throughout the NBA playoffs, you’ll find prop lines on other markets like threes made, steals, blocks and even turnovers.

NBA Prop Betting Tips for the Playoffs
There’s little doubt that the game changes from the regular season to the playoffs, which is something to consider for your NBA playoff prop picks. Teams shorten their rotations, cutting opportunities for players further down the roster. Stars have the ball in their hands much more, while the prospect of a seven-game series opens up an opportunity to bet focused on matchups between the two teams.
