Phil Agius

Stockport v Wimbledon – Stockport at 8/13 with bet365

Stockport have won three of their four EFL meetings with AFC Wimbledon, including a pair of 1-0 home wins, and they can pick up three crucial points in League One with a home win on Saturday.

The Hatters have three league matches to play before their EFL Trophy final appearance, so that should not yet be a distraction and after playing five of their last six games on the road, they should be happy to be at home, where they have taken 19 points from the last 21 available.

With a fierce battle going on for the final playoff places, a win would provide some valuable breathing space and they should get it against a Wimbledon side who did well to pull clear of the relegation race but may have taken their foot off the gas.

The Dons have taken only one point from their last three matches and have taken only two points from their last four away games.

Ian Wilkerson

Exeter vs Leyton Orient – Leyton Orient at 7/4 with bet365

Leyton Orient have found it hard to live up to expectations in League One this season after losing to Charlton in last season’s playoff final, but it looks as if the Londoners have finally got their act together.

They head to Exeter having won their last four league matches, including away successes against Stevenage and AFC Wimbledon in which striker Dominic Ballard, the third tier’s top marksman, has scored five goals.

That is not good news for the Grecians, who are separated from Blackpool and the drop zone on goal difference and the Devon outfit may find it difficult to arrest their slump that has seen them lose their last five games.

Joe Casey

Barrow vs Bromley – Bromley at 23/20 with bet365

It is not often that the team top of the league are odds-against to beat the team rock bottom of the standings but that is the case as Bromley visit Barrow this weekend.

Top of the table Bromley are in the middle of a 21-game unbeaten run and have won three on the spin.

In sharp contrast the hosts have taken just two points from their last eight games and are rapidly careering towards relegation. They have only won one of their last 15 league games and look set for more misery against the table toppers.

Aaron Rogan

Braintree Town vs Carlisle – Carlisle to win and both teams to score – 21/10 with bet365

Third-placed Carlisle are in fine form, winning three of their last four matches to continue their play-off push. They meet a Braintree side which has lost all three home clashes with the top five, and the hosts have suffered nine home defeats overall.

However, both teams have scored in the hosts’ last four matches, and they’ve scored in defeats in their last three at home. Carlisle have shipped over a goal per game on their travels this term, but the gulf in class between the third-placed visitors and third-bottom hosts should tell.

Gareth Freeman

Malaga vs Leganes – Malaga to win at 24/25 with bet365

Malaga are one of La Liga 2’s form sides and a run of 11 wins in their last 14 games means they head into Saturday’s home game against Leganes just one point adrift of the automatic promotion spots.

Los Albicelestes are unbeaten in 12 at home and have won six of their last seven, they look good value at just shy of evens to see off a struggling Leganes side who have just one point to show from their last five away games.

Alex Wrigley

Bristol Rovers vs Accrington Stanley – Bristol Rovers to win at 3/4 with bet365

Bristol Rovers have moved 13 points clear of the League Two relegation zone after racking up five wins from their last seven games, and they can continue their resurgence when they face a declining Accrington Stanley on Saturday.

The visitors are winless in seven since their February win over the struggling Tranmere, losing five of these fixtures and scoring just twice in the process. Back Rovers to claim their sixth win in their last seven home games on Saturday.
