Friday – PSG vs Strasbourg

Ligue 1 returns with a top-three clash, as Strasbourg aim to build on a strong start. Liam Rosenior’s side have won five of their first seven games, but they’ve lost their two biggest tests in high-scoring fashion.

Strasbourg lost 2-1 at home to Marseille last month, while they were beaten 3-2 at Monaco earlier in the campaign. All but one of the meetings between the pair since 2021 have ended with both teams scoring, while PSG have conceded five times across their last four league games.

Friday – Middlesbrough vs Ipswich

Ipswich found their groove after the transfer window closed, as they’ve taken 10 points from their last four Championship games. However, there are still doubts around Kieran McKenna’s side at the back, as they’ve kept one clean sheet in eight league games.

Middlesbrough have scored in three of their last four at the Riverside, but they could struggle to contain an Ipswich side who are on the rise.

Saturday – Stoke vs Wrexham

Wrexham have been a go-to side in BTTS coupons so far this season, despite Phil Parkinson’s functional style. The Welsh outfit have conceded in eight of their nine games, while they’ve scored in every game.

Only strugglers Sheffield Wednesday have been worse than Wrexham when it comes to restricting chances. The Welsh side have the second-highest Expected Goals Against tally, averaging over two per game.

Stoke’s promotion push has tailed off in recent weeks, with the Potters managing only one clean sheet across a four-game winless run.

Saturday – Roma vs Inter Milan

Gian Piero Gasperini’s early games in charge of Roma didn’t feature the thrills of his Atalanta side. The Giallorossi won four of their first five games to nil, with just six goals scored in total.

Their 2-1 win at Fiorentina had more attacking edge, while Roma’s good defensive record didn’t line up with the number of good chances they were conceding.

Saturday’s late game pits them against an Inter Milan side who have scored 17 times in their first six Serie A games under Cristian Chivu. However, their more attacking approach has seen them keep only one clean sheet in five. With things starting to click for Roma going forward, back both teams to score at the Olimpico.

Sunday – Tottenham vs Aston Villa

Thomas Frank has taken a more cautious approach at Tottenham than his predecessor, but their only clean sheet across their last five games came against League One Doncaster.

Spurs have conceded in two of their first three home league games, while they meet an Aston Villa side who have rediscovered their attacking spark. Villa have now scored nine times across their last five games, but they’ve gone three games without a clean sheet in the league.

Sunday – Dundee vs Celtic

Celtic return to action after a 3-2 home win over Motherwell, with Sunday’s trip to Dundee likely to test their defence again.

The Bhoys conceded plenty of chances in a 2-1 win at Kilmarnock in their last away league game. Both teams have scored in three of Dundee’s four home games in the Premiership, while the pair shared a 3-3 in Celtic’s last visit.
