The first Breton derby of the season sees Rennes make the short hop to the coast to take on Lorient at the Stade du Moustoir.
And Rennes head down the N24 with spirits soaring following last weekend’s season-opening 1-0 win against Marseille, a scoreline that would have merited respect anyway, but deserved a public holiday in Brittany’s biggest city given they had to play over an hour with 10 men.
Rennes have been transformed since Habib Beye took the reins at the end of January.
They will fancy their chances at promoted Lorient, who are still missing a few players through injury and were a model in inaccuracy coughing up chances galore in last week’s 1-0 loss at Auxerre.

Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest – Nottingham Forest to win @ 21/10 with bet365
Crystal Palace are on the brink of losing talisman Eberechi Eze to Arsenal and his absence will be felt hugely by the Eagles, who may struggle to overcome visitors Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The England international was a creative force for Palace, regularly chipping in with goals and assists, and that lack of guile in the attacking third could show against the Tricky Trees.
Forest started off the season with a 3-1 victory over Brentford and having added some new faces to the squad since that victory, there will be huge optimism of another successful campaign for the club.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side boasted the third-best away record in the Premier League last season and that strong form can continue at Selhurst Park.

Real Sociedad vs Espanyol – Real Sociedad to win
Espanyol recorded a shock 2-1 success at home to Atletico Madrid in their La Liga opener, but they may struggle to follow that up at Real Sociedad.
The hosts have won the last five meetings between the pair, recording a home and away double last season, and they will be confident of building on last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Valencia.
Espanyol seriously struggled on their La Liga travels last season, taking only 12 points from 19 away games and suffering 13 defeats, so supporters have every right to be fearing the worst.

Lille vs Monaco- Lille to win at 9/5 with bet365
Lille had an impressive home record last season, winning 11 of their 17 matches at their own ground. That included a victory over Monaco, with the visitors missing out on a top two finish thanks to their issues on the road.
Monaco lost six of their eight visits to teams in the top half last season, including all of their clashes at the top five. Defensive issues cost them away from home, so back them to struggle against a Lille side who scored three times on the road last weekend.
