Huddersfield vs Stevenage – Huddersfield at 19/20 with bet365

Huddersfield have made a strong start to the League One season and they can make it four league wins from five by defeating leaders Stevenage at Accu Stadium.

Lee Grant’s side had a sloppy spell during last Saturday’s 3-2 defeat at Blackpool, conceding three goals during 13 first half minutes.

But they have generally excelled and were 2-0 victors at home to Doncaster on Tuesday.

The Terriers are aiming for a top two finish and can secure a statement victory over Stevenage, who had to ride their luck during a 2-1 midweek success at Port Vale.

Warren Ashurst

West Brom vs Portsmouth – West Brom at 4/5 with bet365

The Baggies are one of just three teams in the Championship with a 100% record after two matches and they impressed in last weekend’s win at Wrexham.

Karlan Grant, Tom Fellows and Isaac Price all caused problems in the final third, while Nat Phillips was outstanding in dealing with the presence of Kiefer Moore.

They now host a Portsmouth side who slipped to a 2-1 home defeat to Norwich last Saturday, falling 2-0 down within the first 15 minutes.

Although Pompey did claim a 1-0 win at Oxford on the opening weekend, they won just three of their 23 league away games last term.

Gareth Freeman

Hartlepool vs Woking – Hartlepool -1 at 2/1 with bet365

Hartlepool are back at home after an impressive 2-0 midweek success at a decent Altrincham side and they can win with room to spare against a Woking outfit who have started the season poorly.

Pools are yet to concede after three games this season and they come into this clash after a pair of 2-0 wins. Woking have four defeats in as many games and three of those losses have been by two-goal margins, conceding nine goals in total.

A straightforward Hartlepool win pays out at around 8/11 but it looks worth pushing this one a bit further and backing the hosts to cover a -1 handicap.

Simon Barlow

Levante vs Barcelona – Barcelona win & Under 3.5 goals at 8/5 with bet365

LaLiga 2 champions Levante lost their opening match of the new campaign at Alaves and now face a home baptism of fire against Spanish title-holders Barcelona.

Expect coach Julian Calero to pull up the shutters for this game to avoid the sort of fate several of Barca’s opponents suffered last term when Hansi Flick’s men recorded seven away wins by three goals or more.

The Blaugrana began with a 3-0 mauling of Mallorca last weekend to make it five away league wins in a row, all with fewer than four goals.

Aaron Rogan

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Werder Bremen – Frankfurt to win at 7/10 with bet365

Werder Bremen have had a difficult summer, with limited incomings. The club have lost manager Ole Werner, who got them promoted and helped them punch above their weight in the top division. Their season started with a cup exit at Arminia Bielefeld, following three straight preseason losses.

Frankfurt have made moves to replace Hugo Ekitike and Omar Marmoush. Building on last season’s third-place finish is their aim, while they won 10 of 15 home meetings with sides below them last term.
