Austrian champions Sturm Graz made a solid start to their title defence with a 2-0 win at LASK Linz last week and last season’s strong home record suggests they can get the better of Rapid Vienna.
The home side lost just twice on their own patch last term, scoring 43 goals on the 16 occasions they were entertaining, and this could be a good time to play Rapid after they were involved in a gruelling 2-2 Conference League draw with Dundee United on Thursday.
Rapid finished a disappointing sixth last season and their pitiful tally of two away wins went a long way towards explaining their underwhelming campaign.
The team from the capital lost eight of their final nine league road games last term and look unlikely to get anything from their first away league match of the season.

LASK Linz to beat Tirol @ 21/20 with bet365
LASK Linz have dominated recent meetings with Tirol and look worth backing to maintain that superiority in Innsbruck.
LASK have come out on top in their last five Austrian Bundesliga meetings with Tirol, winning 3-1 here in May, and they will be desperate to make amends to last weekend’s 2-0 loss at home to champions Sturm Graz.
Tirol did get off the mark in their season opener, winning 4-2 at home to Hartberg, but this represents a much stiffer test against a LASK side that triumphed in four of their final six away games last term.

Antwerp have started the new season with back-to-back draws but they should register a first win against a Leuven side they are unbeaten against across their last nine meetings.
Confidence will be low in the Leuven camp following last week’s 5-0 thrashing at Union SG, a result that means they are now without a win in their last seven competitive fixtures.
The visitors will at least take heart from the fact Antwerp have not kept a home clean-sheet since October 2024, but the hosts should still prove too strong in what could be a high-scoring contest.

Utrecht have the fitness edge here, having already played three European qualifiers this summer. They’ve won and conceded in all three of those, including a 3-1 victory at Swiss side Servette in midweek.
The hosts are expected to prove too strong for a Heracles side that closed with four defeats in five at the end of last season. However, all five of those matches saw both teams score, so back them to grab a consolation goal.
