Liam Manning led Bristol City to the Championship playoffs last season and he looks a smart managerial appointment by Norwich.

AFC Wimbledon vs Lincoln City – Lincoln City to win at 13/10 with bet365
AFC Wimbledon were beaten in their first game in League One by Luton last weekend and they should suffer a similar fate this weekend.
The Dons failed to register a shot on target and only had two efforts in total and that is worrying ahead of the visit of Lincoln.
Michael Skubala’s troops beat fellow promotion hopefuls 2-0 in their season opener, and after finishing in mid-table last season, they should have too much class for their hosts.

Middlesbrough vs Swansea City – Middlesbrough to win at Evs with bet365
The Riverside has certainly not been a happy hunting ground for Swansea City over the years and they face a tough Championship opener with a trip to Middlesbrough on Saturday.
Swansea have lost all of their last five games at the Riverside and only scored two goals across those matches.
Boro won four and drew one of their last six home games at the end of the last Championship campaign and, with new boss Rob Edwards at the helm, the hosts can make a flying start to the new season with another three points against the Swans.

Oxford vs Portsmouth – Oxford to win at 31/20 with bet365
There was just a place and point separating Oxford and Portsmouth in the final Championship standings last season as both relied heavily on their home form to keep their heads above water.
Oxford picked up 38 of their 53 points on home turf at the Kassam Stadium, while only 14 of Portsmouth’s 54 points were accrued away from their Fratton Park home.
Relegated Plymouth were the only team that had a worse away record than Pompey in the second tier last season and this could end up as another disappointing road trip for John Mousinho’s side.

Sheffield United vs Bristol City – Sheffield United to win at 3/4 with bet365
Bristol City must be sick of the sight of Sheffield United after losing 3-0 in both legs of their Championship playoff semi-final against them last season and now having to face them in the first match of their next campaign.
While the home side will be hopeful of being in the promotion chase again under Ruben Selles, the Robins may well take a step back after losing manager Liam Manning and the Blades, who won 15 of their 23 home league games last season, can make a winning start.
