Union Berlin vs Stuttgart – Union Berlin to win at 9/5 with bet365
It has been a season to forget for Union Berlin but they’re in the middle of a bit of a purple patch and should already have enough points on the board to guarantee their survival.
Visitors Stuttgart were battling for the European spots not too long ago and they still have an outside chance of finishing in those spots, but the DfB Pokal is now their obvious focus as they will fancy their chances of beating Bielefeld in the final at the end of the season.
VfB’s Bundesliga form has dipped as a result of their cup exploits and they’ve won just one of their last eight in the league, losing five. Union are on a five-game unbeaten run (W3, D2) and as the underdogs they look a great price to pick up maximum points this weekend.

Mallorca vs Leganes – Mallorca to win at 5/6 with bet365
Leganes have lost four of their last five games and they’ve suffered seven defeats on their travels this term. The visitors have suffered five of those in eight clashes with the top 10, while eighth-placed Mallorca are aiming to follow up a 2-0 victory at Real Sociedad.
The hosts have won six of their nine home meetings with sides below them, drawing three. They can build on that strong record against a side who have slumped into 19th-place following a poor run of form.
James Mason
Lecce vs Como – Como to win at 21/20 with bet365
Lecce are hovering above the Serie A relegation zone and their hopes of staying up could take a blow when they welcome a Como side eyeing a top-half finish to Stadio Via del mare.
Marco Giampaolo’s hosts are without a win in nine games, losing six and drawing three, while they last tasted success at home on December 15 when beating Monza 2-1.
Visitors Como made it two wins in a row with a 1-0 triumph over Torino last time out, extending their unbeaten run to three matches, and head coach Cesc Fabregas will be confident his side can add another three points to their tally.
Aaron Ashley
Everton vs Manchester City – Everton or draw double chance at 5/6 with bet365
Manchester City are relying on a top-four finish in the Premier League to salvage a desperate season, but the Citizens could struggle to overcome a tenacious Everton outfit.
City came from two goals down to ease past Crystal Palace 5-2 last weekend but they have won only three of their last 12 league games away from the Etihad and two of those victories came against relegation-bound Ipswich and Leicester.
Everton have been rejuvenated under David Moyes and last weekend’s 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest means that they have suffered only one defeat in their last 12 Premier League assignments.
The Toffees are unbeaten in six at Goodison Park, which includes draws with champions-elect Liverpool and Champions League semi-finalists Arsenal, and they may stand firm against the Citizens.
Tom Hill
Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth – Bournemouth at 13/8 with bet365
Crystal Palace have endured a nightmare few days and Oliver Glasner’s side look vulnerable as they prepare to host Bournemouth.
The Eagles conceded five goals in each of their last two games against Manchester City and Newcastle United and Bournemouth look primed to take full advantage.
The Cherries have bounced back from three consecutive defeats by avoiding defeat in their last two games and they beat Fulham 1-0 last time out.
Andoni Iraola’s side have only lost one of their last 11 matches away from home and they should be able to exploit Palace’s weaknesses at the back.
Henry Hardwicke
Aston Villa vs Newcastle – Newcastle at 9/5 with bet365
Aston Villa gave the Champions League a good crack when beating PSG 3-2 at Villa Park on Tuesday night, but Unai Emery’s men came up short and they put a huge amount of effort into that contest.
Villa are tasked with returning to action against an in-form Newcastle side just four days after their European efforts and that looks a big ask.
Emery may look to freshen up his side for the clash with the Magpies, but either way, it’s hard to see how Eddie Howe’s men don’t shorten up ahead of Saturday’s contest.
Newcastle cruised past Crystal Palace 5-0 on Wednesday and there are fewer concerns over the short turnaround.
