After scoring the only goal in Chelsea’s win over Leicester last weekend, Marc Cucurella now has five goals in all competitions this season, which is the best goal return of his career. Under Enzo Maresca, the Spaniard is encouraged to get forward as much as possible and is averaging 0.62 shots per 90, but this only tells half of the story. Since December, Cucurella has had 13 Premier League starts and managed 14 shots, with at least one in 10 of those matches.

Arsenal will be tough opponents, but Chelsea managed 17 shots against them at Stamford Bridge in November. Cucurella didn’t manage a shot that day but this was before his new role which sees him in the box whenever the ball is in the final third. This is very much a price play as with his current form, the full back should be nowhere near these odds for a single effort at goal.

Since returning from injury, Destiny Udogie has been making up for lost time, getting stuck in as much as possible. His last three starts have seen him manage tackle counts of four, seven and three, all in less than 75 minutes of action.

He’s averaging 3.29 tackles per 90 across all competitions this season and if he is to be replaced, bet365’s new ‘Sub on, Play on’ feature means this bet will carry over to his replacement. That replacement is likely to be either Djed Spence or Pedro Porro, who average 4.9 tackles per 90 between them.

Udogie will be opposing Alex Iwobi and Timothy Castagne, and whilst neither of those players draw huge tackle numbers, three of the last four opposition left backs against the Cottagers have made at least three tackles, including Rayan Ait-Nouri of Wolves making five. Tottenham are desperate for points in the Premier League and should be throwing themselves into tackles, recent numbers for Udogie and Fulham make this price enticing.

Leicester continue to struggle and look as good as down, having lost 11 of their last 12 Premier League games. In an attempt to disrupt opponents passing, Ruud van Nistelrooy seems to have instructed him to press aggressively which has meant plenty of tackles for Vardy. Since the Dutchman took over, Vardy has averaged 0.88 tackles per 90 in all competitions and he’s made at least one in seven of his last nine starts.

Man United will look to build from the back under Ruben Amorim and Vardy will fancy his chances of pressing the likes of Maguire and De Ligt in possession. Across United’s last nine matches in all competitions, opposition strikers have made eight tackles between them and so at the price being offered, Vardy can add his name to this list.
