Free Horse Racing Bet This Weekend from Betfair

Betfair are offering new and existing customers a horse racing Free Bet every weekend leading up to the Cheltenham Festival.

The free bet value will range be between £1 and £10 per weekend, there are 4 weekend’s to go until the 2025 Cheltenham Festival – meaning there’s up to £40 in horse racing free bets available.

1⃣ Step 1: Make sure you have a Betfair account

2⃣ Step 2: Claim Your Free Bet

So, you’ve got a Betfair account, now you need to claim your free bet.

Claim your free bet via the Betfair Promotion Page, each free bet can be claimed at 9am on Friday ahead of the weekends racing.

Once claimed, you’re then free to use your free horse racing bet on any horse racing single or multiple at minimum odds of 1/2 (1.50).

Note that the free bet value will not be returned in any winnings, for example, if you get a £5 free bet and use it on a selection to win at 2/1 (3.0) and it wins, you will get £10 back rather than £15.

Lowry’s Bar looks a strong pick to land Saturday’s 2nd race at Ascot, the Philip Hobbs & Johnson White gelding has posted strong form figures of 2, 1, 1, 2 over his last 4 races and arrives here in good order.

He was beaten by the current market leader Jingko Blue last time out when a mistake 3 fences from the finish ruined his chances of winning. Both horses carried 11st4lbs that day, while this time around Lowry’s Bar will get 5lbs in hand from his main rival.

This has the looking of a 2 horse race with little likely to trouble the 2 market leaders from the rest of the pack, there’s nothing to suggest that Lowry’s Bar can’t reverse the form with Jingko Blue at a nice price of 2/1 currently.
