There’s another slate of 5 games on Friday in the Dutch Eerste Divisie – which means we have one focus in mind, goals.
Our expert has crunched the numbers and has four picks for a goals-based accumulator. A £10 bet returns £46.60 at the time of writing.
Last Friday’s Eerste goals accumulator sailed in at 7/1.

Friday’s Eerste Divisie Accumulator Tips
Cambuur are the favourites to win this match around the 1.80 mark, but against an inconsistent Telstar, it may be a challenge to keep a clean sheet. This doesn’t feel like the sort of game in which they can just rock up and snatch a 1-0 win.
Instead, they will have to lean on their attack more and the odds on over 2.5 goals are generous, probably because of Cambuur’s defensive reputation. They lost 2-4 away to FC Eindhoven last week so this defence can be vulnerable against the better offensive sides.
Telstar are too inconsistent to be trusted. Their form is very mixed with 4 wins, 5 defeats and 1 draw in their last 10 games. In total, 7 of their last 9 matches have gone over 2.5 goals and this is a team that has only kept 2 away clean sheets all season.
2-3 and 1-5 road losses to Dordrecht and Maastricht show they are vulnerable away from home and over 2.5 goals looks overpriced considering the Cambuur result last week as well.
Den Bosch are back up to 4th position after consecutive home wins v Jong Utrecht and Oss – they won to nil on both occasions as odds-on favourites. This is far tougher though and Den Bosch are a significant underdog at home to league leaders Volendam.
They are the 5th highest scoring team in the league and might have to lean on some of their offensive weapons to get a result against such a tough side. Byron Burgering has been in great form with 7 goals and 8 assists and they will need him to fire.
Volendam are top of the table and have scored the most goals (54) of any team in the division. In Henk Veerman and Robert Muhren, they have two of the biggest goal scoring threats in the league, with Bilal-Ould Chikh one of the top assist providers too.
17 out of 22 of their fixtures have gone over 2.5 goals and they are the sort of side who are capable of covering this goal line all on their own. The away side are odds-on favourites to prevail and should power their way to victory. Goals are likely to be on the agenda due to a couple of strong attacks so over 2.5 looks well within reach.
Emmen are now winless in 6 straight games and suffered a poor 0-4 defeat away to De Graafschap last week. Emmen had a great run during the autumn where they won 7 out of 9 fixtures so if they could revert to that sort of form they would be very dangerous.
No clean sheet since the end of November is a huge concern though, and they’ve lost both their last two home games as a clear 1.50 favourites. This is a team bang out of form, but who yet again are significantly favoured to prevail. How can their defence be trusted?
Jong PSV have struggled this season and lost 14 out of 23 games so far. You never know which version of them will take to the field and the XI can be difficult to predict. Only Vitesse have conceded more goals though and this is a team that hasn’t kept a clean sheet since 20th September.
Neither team is setting the world alight but must fancy beating each other based on current form. With each defence not looking like keeping things tight, over 2.5 goals appears a good bet. The previous league meeting in November ended in a 3-2 win for Emmen, which backs up the goals claim too.
Dordrecht were involved in a crazy 3-3 draw v FC Eindhoven just before Christmas. Only two teams in the Eerste Divisie have scored more goals and they have a plethora of attacking weapons. Devin Haen, Korede Osundina and Jaden Slory are all dangerous whilst midfielder Rocco Robert Shein is a dual threat for goals and assists.
They claimed a comfortable 3-0 win v Vitesse last week and know they are going to have to score goals to keep pace with this De Graafschap team.
De Graafschap got back to winning ways last week with an excellent 4-0 success v Eemmen. Only Volendam have scored more goals than their tally of 46, but conceding 33 goals at the other end of the field has been a clear problem. No team has had more over 2.5 goal games than De Graafschap this season, with 17 of their contests containing at least 3 goals.
A massive 15 of those fixtures also ended over 3.5 and they have a lot of firepower in this team across the board. With their mojo back after a great win last week this match is ripe for goals. De Graafchap won the reverse fixture 4-1 and simply taking over 2.5 goals looks like a very attainable outcome from the fixture.
