Genoa vs Parma – Genoa to win at 10/11 with bet365
Genoa may not look to have much going for them as they have not won any of their last ten home games and are the second-lowest goalscorers in Serie A, but they should finally get a full return on their own patch when Parma visit the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
Six of those matches have ended in draws and it is interesting to note that the only team who have beaten them in their last nine outings are league leaders Napoli.
That run started when they claimed a 1-0 win at Parma and the recently promoted Crusaders have been struggling on the road.
They have claimed a full return in just one of their nine away games, suffered a 5-0 thumping at Roma just before Christmas and are difficult to trust as the owners of the Italian top flight’s leakiest defence.
James Mason
Aberdeen vs Hearts – Hearts to win at 15/8 with bet365
Having once been the closest title challengers to Celtic, Aberdeen’s season has fallen off a cliff over the past couple of months and they could be in for more disappointment when they host an improving Hearts side.
The Dons lost 2-0 at Motherwell last weekend, extending their losing streak to five matches and making it 10 games without a victory. Jimmy Thelin’s side have also struggled at Pittodrie, taking just one point from the last 12 on offer.
Visitors Hearts are on the up after a difficult start to the campaign, with Sunday’s 1-0 victory at Dundee United their second consecutive win and extending their unbeaten run to three games.
The Jam Tarts are still just one place off the bottom of the Scottish Premiership table but they can pick up a crucial three points that could potentially help them move up the standings.
Joe Casey
Newcastle vs Bromley – Harvey Barnes to score at anytime at 5/4 with bet365
Newcastle are on a run of seven wins in a row in all competitions and they are overwhelming favourites to add to that tally when they host League Two Bromley.
Expect plenty of rotation from the Magpies and one beneficiary could be Harvey Barnes. The former Leicester forward has an impressive goalscoring record for Newcastle but has found his chances limited given the success of their current front three.
Barnes has six league goals in just 782 minutes of action, an average of 0.57 per 90 minutes and he makes plenty of appeal at odds-against to add to that tally.

Venezia vs Inter Milan – Inter Milan -1 handicap at 4/5 with bet365
Inter Milan were denied Super Cup success by arch-rivals AC Milan on Monday, but their Serie A title defence resumes with a trip to Venezia, and they should ease to victory against the 19th-placed hosts.
Inter have won their last five league games by an aggregate scoreline of 19-1, with all five of those seeing them win by two goals or more. They have covered a -1 handicap eight times in the league this season, and they should make it nine on Sunday.

Montpellier vs Angers – Angers to win at 5/2 with bet365
Angers have started to string a few results together with three wins in their last five games across all competitions and they can claim maximum points at drop rivals Montpellier on Sunday.
The hosts sit bottom of Ligue 1 with just nine points on the board after 16 games, losing 11 of those.
Angers have been better on the road with nine of their 16 points coming on their travels, picking up wins at Monaco and Le Havre and taking points at Marseille and Toulouse, and they can add to Montpellier’s woes this weekend.
Aaron Rogan
Feyenoord vs Utrecht – Utrecht double chance at 7/4 with bet365
Feyenoord finished 2024 with a 3-0 loss to PSV, leaving them fourth in the Eredivisie and trailing this weekend’s opponents Utrecht. The visitors have made an excellent start to the campaign, which has seen them avoid defeat across each of their first eight league trips.
Utrecht have won six of their eight away games this term and they’ve already drawn at Ajax. Meanwhile, Feyenoord are looking to start the year on a stronger note, but they have dropped points in home clashes with Fortuna Sittard and Willem II this term. With Utrecht scoring 2.13 goals per game on their travels, back them to have enough to frustrate the hosts.
